Haven't looked into FA market yet but hear WRs are thin.
Yes very thin, is why Myers will have suitors, if the patriots are really serious about thier culture and the locker room keeping guys like Jones and Myers both undrafted guys who are part of the system should be no brainers.. I honestly feel they both would take reasonable offers from the team..
 
Exactly, just wait til he has to compete for real in trying camp. The final snub is the most unkind of all.
 
A Pro Bowl replacement should be described as a pro bowl “replacement”.
The replacement word is more important than calling them a pro bowler forever.

Example -Phillip Rivers was named to 1 pro bowl & he was a pro bowl replacement 8 times. ….. I took a guess at Rivers numbers as an example.

Agreed in principle but not sure it'd work in practice. If you don't give replacements the pro bowl designation, then they really have no incentive to go. You'd end up with more players declining and instead of subbing with guys like Phillip Rivers you have to go down to the Zach Wilsons of the world.
