NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION NFL Conference Championship Game Thread

so what happened at the end there? ref controversy?

Phil Simms looks like he’s about to tip 10% on an overpriced latte.

If I were #58 I would be in and out of that locker room ASAP instead of sitting on the bench crying.
It was dumb, but the fact that wasn't nullified by obvious KC holds on their OL, plus the uncalled block in the back + hold on their punt return, is downright absurd.

Allen has done it too. It’s a huge blind spot in the officiating that is going to continue to be a problem. QBs take advantage of their protections knowing they won’t get touched and try to steal extra yards so players need to force them out, but then they get penalized for touching them anyway.
Yeah exactly!

My view is if the same intensity hit is legal a few inches earlier, the rules cant be the defender has committed a huge crime by hitting him an inch over the line. You should have to be well out of bounds and the refs should look at the play and use common sense.

I only remember this being a problem in the last few years..

Andy Reid is a much better HC than Belichick is right now, and has been for the last 3 seasons. I'm not sure he's even in the top 10 anymore.

Jaguars had them on the ropes and should've won that game.

Oh yes, the game was indeed bizarrely close, just saying on paper you couldn't have had a much easier path than we did that year.

Mahomes has 3 SB appearances in 6 years Nate. Cool, Brady had 5 in 7 years and won 4. Suck it Kermit

Andy Reid is an offensive wizard but a mediocre head coach and a criminally negligent parent who skates by as this loveable oaf. I think Belichick is a di.ckhead. I think his off the field opinions on some things sucks. I hate his nepotism. But as far as I know he raised a couple of decent kids despite working 16 hour days for 40 years. That makes him a better person in my book.

\But whatever. Read the court room transcript from back in the day.

He's in the top 10, but not top 5.
