Sign the beast!

Would be a waste of cap.
He’s a amazing talent and coming off the injury will be a bit less but my gut says he stays in Dallas.

Backs aren’t are issue,

O Line
Game breaking WR
Kicker
Punter
Safety
Athletic linebacker
D line
Franchise QB

That is our focus.

Nope. No reason to sign a guy coming off a surgery to repair a wheel. He is going to sign a short term contract with Dallas. No one is going to pay him coming off that injury. And we definitely do not need a back.

I'd be happy to bring Back Damien Harris. Not over extending to keep him but he shouldn't be too expensive. I think Strong and Kevin Harris might be able to step in but I know I like the duo of Rham and Damien.

The Pats have far too many needs than to sign another RB. Besides, both Strong and Kevin Harris have shown flashes that the Pats might be really deep at RB and only really need a true third down receiving back.

For the right price absolutely. I don’t think he’ll demand much with the injury history. A one year prove it deal sounds reasonable giving him a chance to set himself up for a payday next year.

No thanks. Need to spend money elsewhere this year.

Too much money. Would rather try to get Perine from the Bengals as a cheaper alternative. (This is if we feel the rb to fill the James white role isn’t on the roster).

Or just draft Tyjae Spears or Deuce Vaughn on day 2/3 of the Draft.

Why? We have Rham, Kevin Harris, and Pierre Strong....
We played without our 3rd down back all year.
Harris was injured at times.

So, OF COURSE, you would expect significant contributions from Kevin Harris and Strong. Based on that, we could expect a solid RB corps.

Do you think that Kevin Harris and Strong showed so much that we are set at RB.

Isn't Strong considered a 3rd down back?

Has Harris showed so much that we consider him our #2 back with no need of competition, and no need for another back.

giving up on Strong as a 3rd down back already?

Flashes are enough. TOGETHER they totaled 152 yards FOR THE SEASON.

No need

We have ty Montgomery in our team and he was injured last season. He should fill in well this season...

Respectfully asking, are you serious ?

They weren’t used almost at all this season. Rookie RB virtually never get much playing time on this team.

As for Strong as a third down back, I am not sure how good of a receiver he is.

It would be a waste of resources.

Pierre Strong came on strong towards the end of the season after having a stupid running into the punter gaffe earlier in the season. Kevin Harris definitely looks like a ramming-between-the-tackles back to me.

The fact of the matter is that Rham is now actually an all down RB, IMO. Damien Harris was spelling him for every other drive...and he was better between the tackles, IMO....but nothing that we can't replicate with Kevin Harris. As for the 3rd down back, sure Pollard would be a better option than counting on Pierre Strong, but also FAR MORE EXPENSIVE.

So, $$$-wise...it is a non-starter. Roll with Rham...and see if Strong/Harris can back him up. Also, do not forget about Ty Montgomery and/or JJ Taylor...
