Reports are the Pats may upgrade the WRs through trade (not necessarily Hopkins)

I would rather one of the little 5'11 or 6'0 guys stay away for those Big guys them and the Patriots are like oil and water.
So... stay away from DK Metcalf types?

Just a thought on slot guys: Don't they usually take a year or 2 before they become really effective. Welker had 3 years to develop in Miami before he came here. Edelman was even a LONGER process before he was a regular contributor on offense. Troy didn't come right out of the box either.

I'm not saying we should be looking for a twitchy slot guy in the 3rd or 4th rounds. We DEFINITELY should. I'm just wondering if we DO draft one, how much of a contribution will he make in 2023.

I'm wondering if the Pats should try and make a play for the Jets kid (Mims I think) who they haven't been thrilled with. He's about to enter his 4th year. Barrios has been more reliable and he's redundant. Is he worth a 5th round pick?
I think Berrios is on the way out. $5.5M is too much given how his offensive production disappeared last season.

ken I going to say this right now this is as good a year as any to double dip @WR. This a very good WR class with some solid guys some I think can contribute from day 1. Remember we have a real OC this time around who will play to his players strengths not their weakness. Here's a player similar to TThornton who Bob Coached in his Rookie year look at his numbers in year 1.

William Fuller V Stats | ESPN
What's his current status. Is he still under contract with Miami?

I remember him at Houston a bit. However the stat that stood out to me was the one that showed that after his rookie year, he has never played more than 11 games. It's a 17 game season and he's a LOCK to miss at least 6 of them. He's had decent production when he's on the field, but won't he be kind of redundant if he's going to run the same patterns we hope Thornton will get?

I'm looking for that quick and twitchy slot guy who gets first downs and is always open. The Brown/Welker/Edelman/Amendola guy. Not to take away anything from Meyers, but the margin of error was always so tight with him and he rarely got any YAC.

Is there anyone like that in FA or the draft that you'd target.

Really?? Do you need any more proof??
Let's not go back down the rabbit hole on DK. Everyone knew he was boom or bust coming out of the combine.

Maybe he's a guy to target on the cheap if the Jets let him go. He'd be a quick study

I think Fuller was suppose to sign a contract with the Browns he might be coming off a suspension too. About the the Draft I see a faster version of Edelman in these Four guys they have the same Edelman joystick wiggle they can separate.

Jordan Addison - Jalin Hyatt - Marvin Mimms and Nathaniel Tank Dell.

what are you talking about? You think the Patriots should avoid drafting the likes of Metcalf?

OK, I'll remind you of that next time you bash them for not picking Metcalf.
I never wanted Metcalf I wanted A.J. Brown that was duly noted like I wanted George Pickens last draft who is a better WR than Meyers right now but I know you'll disagree.

BB can't draft WR that is already known I can pick a solid WR with my eyes close and BB with his binoculars.

I think you’re overrating Parker.

In 8 years in the league he is averaging 650 yds and 3.3 TDs per year over his career. He’s a guy who can win some jump balls but doesn’t get separation. We need to get Mac some easier throws then 50/50 jump balls.
We need the additional receiver to replace Agholor, but Parker can play.

Get any of these guys and Parker and Bourne would be benched.
Jordan Addison - Jalin Hyatt - Tank Dell or Zay Flowers from BC.

Who you want this year?

Jalin Hyatt - Jordan Addison or Nathaniel Tank Dell can't miss WR's you can see it in their games.
What rds?

Sorry I'm not a big college guy. I'll watch the college playoffs and do a little draft prep but haven't started yet.
