Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I'd take what Miami says officially with a grain of salt. The Miami owner had said that he had no interest in Brady in 2019, but a couple years later is caught tampering.
Hinging their potential success on Tua, given his concussion history, is pretty dumb.

I feel like if Brady had any lingering ideas of staying in Tampa this was the end of that. The defense is miles away from being representative.
feel like a lot of the Bowels love came from shutting down a washed Brees and KC with their OL injuries

I saw a commercial in the football game. I'm surprised they are spending big money to promote the movie.

The only way I'll watch a bunch of 80 year Olds is if it gets great reviews.

It's at a 4 percent rotten tomatoes lmao

Yeah but what do the Top Critics say huh? They can better appreciate the artistic skill at work here.

edit: wait i just checked. there are only 3 reviews and all are somehow positive. Where did you see 4%?

I wonder if Jerry Jones has grown weary of watching Dak suck in all of the biggest moments? If there's a way out of Dak's contract then perhaps Dallas will take a run at Brady.

I wouldn't count out the 49ers just yet for Brady either. Purdy looked a bit shaky yesterday and he got bailed out with a great game from Kittle. The Eagles are no joke, they're going to be a handful for the 49ers on both sides of the ball. If Purdy falls flat in the NFCCG and the 49ers lose then the result won't be any different from prior seasons of falling short with Garoppolo. Lance and Purdy are young and cheap enough where they could bring Brady in for a season or two to make a run with that stacked roster.

I still think LVR is the most probably landing spot for Brady. Which I apparently like more than most.

My only thing with LVR is the division. The Chargers are always frauds, but ousting KC would be tall, tall order for an unproven coach like McDaniels. That's like coming to the AFCE during the dynasty like Favre did.

I guess they can always repeat as WC like the Bucs in 2020 when the Saints were still dominant, but be prepared to always need to go to KC for playoff games.

Raiders are a tick above the Jets in level of suckage and dysfunction offensive weapons aside. I wouldn't go there if I were Tom

I'm going to be stepping away (for a while or longer, I don't know). It's been great having this thread, and this sub-forum, where we've been able to have real discussions, and most of you have been great about it. Keep the place going, because Lord knows it's been needed around here.

Hope to see you soon, pal

Making a big splash is what Jerry Jones likes to do and going after Brady would fit.

Dak is a good QB and that's it. He is far from a elite QB. That said, his contract at 40mil/year is currently ranked 9 and will drop a couple notches with some big contracts being signed like Lamar and Burrow/Herbert likely getting extensions.
Dallas could easily trade Dak. The downside is Brady probably only has 1 great year left in him.

Jerry Jones would sell his soul for 1 more Super Bowl championship.
