The future of Matt Patricia

It would be best to cut ties with him completely. He's bad news.

It all started with Malcolm Butler.
Then Hightower saying the defense is easier to understand since his departure.
Then Detroit players wanted him gone the minute he entered the locker room.
Now Bourne magically disappears with him as the play caller and multiple players are questioning him.

he will be in a corner office at Patriot Place putting together spreadsheets for BB.

I could see Patricia becoming a good OL coach, by the Ernie Adam’s role would fit him well.

there was a lot of turmoil in Philly when Andy Reid was let go iirc... his son garrett died that same year... the team wasnt focused... it wasnt that they ran him out of town, the iggles let his contract expire... maybe thats just quibbling... but they literally ran chip kelly out of town before the season was over...
Interestingly enough, another one of the things that led to Reid’s “contract expiration” was his making his longtime offensive line coach the defensive coordinator, and having it fail miserably. Sound familiar?….

never knew that... Juan Castillo... had to look him up

He was an excellent defensive coach so I don't see why he wouldn't return there to a positional coach with additional duties assisting Bill.

He's our new Ernie Adams. Yeah, he isn't rich from the stock market....but he can certainly do football research, interview draft picks, make draft pick recommendations, call up agents and make offers during FA, and run the scout team weekly.

Do we really want Patricia calling prioritized free agents undrafted rookie or otherwise.
Call me old school but we should have a smoking hot chick face timing these free agents.

Hold up coach McDermott im getting a ping from Candy with two ee’s.
Coach I gotta go.

He did it for us in 2021 when we signed all of those FA’s.

And players already attract hot chicks…

I like MP. Things didn’t go well on offense this season and he was a part of the problem. Other problems include horrendous redzone execution, untimely/bad OL play, injuries, ridiculously bad fumbles, uneven/ bad QB play, covered receivers…

Fans who think MP is over 50% of the problem are glossing over the other factors imo. He is to blame. But hardly as much as posters here want to think.
What does he do well? Why do you like him

Can someone please explain the stupid fu*king pencil?
People are jerks.

Pretty sure he keeps it because he likes to jot down notes. People clowned him really hard about once because they noticed him holding a laminated page which you obviously couldn't write on in pencil. But I'm guessing he probably had a note pad in his pocket. I highly doubt he tucks it in there just to look smart or something which is what people implied.
