Reiss said this, but I doubt Bailey ever plays for NE again.

I think the extension was a mistake, he clearly got fat/happy, and now they are trying to get out of it in what may be a shady fashion .

Common decency? Like to see people trying to do their jobs treated fairly. Would like more transparency about the team. I guess this behavior is tolerable when making it to Superbowl. But now he is an average coach and a crappy gm….so the arrogant attitude should stop

That said, his grunting and snorting was entertaining when they were winning. Less so when they're not.

They made the playoffs last year.

They are rebuilding.

Sucking up to the media may make you feel better but it does not make him a better coach/GM or help the team win games.

Because when you are so emotionally and, perhaps more importantly, so financially invested in a team, it would be nice to get some answers and reasoning as to why it has become such a cluster-f.

No, they kinda really don't. Not in this day and age. Bengals went from being the worst team in football to being conference champs in 2 years. Buccaneers went from 7-9 to SB Champ in 1 season. Rams went from 4-12 to Conference Champs in 2 years.

Furthermore, this is a team heading in the wrong direction with zero indication anything will improve next year.
