I'm correcting a poster that thought Jack was talking about Steven who is not the DB coach. Jesus, there's a lot of sensitive people on this forum. Is anything I posted not true?
He was DBs now LB.

No good can come of this.
What a clown show.
Again letting free agents know we are going to screw them.
I’m sure players will definitely attracted to come here.
What you just described doesn’t happen. The whole grievance process is designed to prevent teams from withholding money that the player is entitled to. If the Patriots are in the wrong, he’ll get his money.

The timing is strange.

Does management really think that this helps our chance in beating BUF?

Does management really think that is it a plus to punish players before the most important game of the season?

Curiously, if we lose, I don't think that this will help the management with their relationship with players.
=========
The management has made the situation clear. Nothing matters more than the management asserting their authority and power, and certainly not any actual game.

If there are real problems with these players, the situation maight have waited until Monday.

Maybe it couldn't wait.

Maybe Bailey and Jones were lallygagging and the perception by the players was BB was being lax and there was no accountability and was causing a problem in the locker room.

Maybe they were distracted this week by the Hamlin health issue.

Maybe BB saw a team that was either comfortable, distracted or both this week and a message needed to be sent.

Coaches need to push multiple buttons to get the most out of individuals and the team.

Sometimes is showing compassion and empathy.

Sometimes is a needle here and there.

Sometimes it's discipline.

Sometimes it fear of losing their jobs.

It's not just this issue. There's been disruptions all year. The coaching clown show. Players yelling at coaches, etc..
By players you mean Mac Jones. I'd say this team has been pretty unified given the bad play. No one has been disruptive until now and it's only one guy.

So.... Anyone want to change their stances from earlier posts?

Are you going to pull back if it comes out that Bailey was in the wrong? Everyone day two sides do not know both. It goes to the union they get the facts we do not have and decide

Arbitrator decides. He can grieve even without the union, though they can help.

I really think Robert needs to take some consideration in giving Bill that gold watch early.
He’s chased away alot of talent over the years if you think about it.
Law, Milloy, Seymour, Jones, Talib, Welker, Admendola, Mcginnest, Wilfork, Vrabel, Gronk, Brady, Branch,Didn’t pay Thuney, traded Mason, Samuel,
Brilliant man but he is stubborn and hard to relate to alot of the young talent.
Set in his way thinks he can win with anyone on the field.
Doesn’t respect his coaches and thinks he can get almost anyone to fill in.
Demands to be the highest paid at his position but demands players take less than market value aside from rare occasions.

I love Belichick the coach X’s and O’s But Bill the GM Bill the dictator I think Robert needs to think very hard about the future of his team.

In all walks of life employees resent when teammates are not pulling their weight and appreciate when the slackers are held accountable. With the punting being so putrid and other CB injuries, these two players could have become a distraction. The truth will come out when the grievance is settled.

While doing all of that he went just to 9 SB and won 6 of them while you are rooting against your teams QB, does this tell you something?
Probably not...nevermind carry on

The Patriots believe two players’ conduct was worthy of being suspended, and the grievance process will decide whether that’s true. There’s not really any more to it than that, no matter how desperately you want to overanalyze it.

We're really going to chisel a punter out of the money we overpaid him? I'm sure a stunt like this will help us reel in players in free agency.
I have a hard time believing this. There must be some sort of reason.

Being a distraction due to sucking is not a valid reason for suspension though.

People have lost their minds.

I know some these posts here are by actual Patriot fans, but reading the argument, it's hard to believe.
