If someone you have on ignore starts a thread then yes you won't even see the thread but if you just mute them then you can see the thread and participate but won't see his posts unless someone quotes him....better than nothing. He creates them because I think he gets off on how "popular" he is with all the posts in them not realizing that Bozo the clown would get as many posts in a game thread.
