NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 17: NFL Other Games

Brady had one of the best o-lines in the league last year and lost to the Rams. He didn’t have a healthy Gronk or Antonio Brown in that game. Brady’s 3 touchdowns to Evans yesterday? Evans was wide open on all of them. Once you get a few CBs who can snuff out Evans and Godwin, Brady’s not the same.
It was one of the best OLs because it was anchored by Tristan Wirfs... who didn't even play against the Rams. You also forgot no Godwin in that game. Yet still tied it up against the eventual champs, only to have Bowles blow it like the clown he is, by calling an all-out blitz, leaving a safety to cover Cooper Kupp.

No QB or offense is the same when their top 2 WRs can be contained. Ingenious analysis though.

You're right of course but he'll just move the goal posts and hijack the thread. I'm going to mute him now so I can focus more on the other game tonight.

If you put him on mute/ignore, you won't be able to see the week 17 thread. I think he knows that and it's why he makes it a point to be the creator of those threads every week.

Brady still had Jensen, Smith, Marpet, and Cappa, which is miles better than what he has now. And like I said, without a healthy Evans, Godwin, Gronk, and Brown, he's not going to go very far. He needs four studs at WR/TE.

Almost as brilliant as your third grade-style analysis of how you can compare QBs in two different eras.

Don't you have any hockey games to follow - you know, your national sport?

If someone you have on ignore starts a thread then yes you won't even see the thread but if you just mute them then you can see the thread and participate but won't see his posts unless someone quotes him....better than nothing. He creates them because I think he gets off on how "popular" he is with all the posts in them not realizing that Bozo the clown would get as many posts in a game thread. Have you noticed that no one gives him "likes" or "winners" in his Brady troll crap?

Bengals have a decent chance tonight. If they win that's the first step for us.

Tampa having the best OL in the league is conditional upon Wirfs being healthy. He wasn't. Your argument is invalid.

His entire career says otherwise.

You invoked Montana vs Brady yesterday -- a debate that's been over for nearly a decade even when accounting for eras.

So one player is the reason why the Bucs collapsed against the Rams? Tell your QB to get the ball out faster.

His entire career says otherwise.

Not recently it doesn't. His record against winning teams this year is 1-4 (assuming GB wins next week).

Only because you got your hockey pants twisted when I posted a fact about Mahomes...

Imagine if Brady played under center his whole career like his boyhood hero - pretty safe to say he'd be nowhere near the QB he is today. What an advantage Brady has over the old-timers.

Who would you rather have, Burrow or Allen?

please don’t let Mac10 ruin this evening with trash.

Cmon man it's New Years. 2023 let's hit some resolutions

No. Not having Tristan Wirfs against the Rams is why you can't use the argument "Brady had one of the best o-lines in the league last year and lost to the Rams." That's why I mentioned it. That's all. Your argument is invalid.

I already specified the bozo responsible for why they ultimately lost to the Rams after they tied it up late and had all the momentum.

Damn, he's no longer the GOAT because of this year.

"Imagine this hypothetical scenario...." No. Go play some Madden if you want to cope about hypothetical scenarios to avoid reality.

I think Allen but I understand the running element of his game could mean he might get hurt. Burrow isn't quite a wreckless?

So Mahomes not having his starters at OL in the SB is a valid excuse. Got it.

I already specified the bozo responsible for why they ultimately lost to the Rams after coughed it up late and had all the momentum.

FIFY

Go back to your 3rd grade analysis

I don’t know man…Allens arm, it’s a laser.
Indeed, but I’ll take the calmness under constant pressure, accuracy, leadership, winning prowess & athleticism that Burrow possesses (obviously, Allen is a great athlete as well). He also wins with weak offensive lines. As I stated, they’re both great, but there’s something about Burrow.

OK - tonight is Bills/Bengals. Let's not do the Brady debate thing.
Fine.

One advantage the Pats have going into next week is they get the Bills on a short week. hopefully tonight will be a physical match up.
