I think theyll win this game, they have feasted on backup qbs so far this year, I dont see this being any different...The banged up secondary would be the only cause for concern

Bridgewater is not chopped liver. If he has time to throw to those receivers, it's trouble.

Pats QBs have been sacked 37 times thus far, putting them at No. 19 of 32 teams. I'm sure PFF has a team-by-team "sack rate" breakdown, something to check out.
Definitely thought that would be worse.

he may not be chopped liver, but hes not good. If the offense/quarterback isnt good, then they usually dont have much trouble with the team...When the offense/qb is capable, Rodgers/Allen/Tua/Fields/Jackson/Burrow...Then they have trouble. They are much more aggressive vs middling qbs.

There will be no 3rd down too long for the Dolphins. The Pats may not force a punt all game.
This game is all on the front 7 to bring heat all game long.. it's not like we can expect anything on offense save for big kick nick!

Mills and Phillips back to practice. If they can play that would help a lot. I'd probably rather have Marcus Jones back than Mills but any healthy DBs coming back is helpful.

Damien Harris back could be helpful.

Can this be the Pats 1st win against a >.500 team?

Dont throw the Bambino out with the bathwater.

Play Zappe.

Theres a decent chance that buffalo could end up the only team in the division with a winning record. And we could also end up in the playoffs without a single win against teams finishing above .500. Would be insane!

kinda how i feel about this team and game. is there anyone on the team really fired up or just paying lipservice

Tell any player prior to the start of a given season that those would be the circumstances he'd face with two weeks left in the regular season, and he'd take it.

"It's been a crazy year, right? We're still in it," Matthew Judon said. "We still have something to fight for. ... It just seems like every week, we still have another week. Until we don't, we're going to continue to go out there and fight."

For how long, though? And how effectively?

The effort switch didn't appear to turn on last week until halftime. And even if it's pointing in the right direction from the opening kick Sunday at Gillette Stadium, will it matter? Or will that effort be negated by the lack of attention to detail that has plagued their offense all year, or injuries nagging the secondary, or mental lapses that lead to untimely penalties and turnovers?

We'll see but I'm sure if we win, you'll be nowhere to be found
Pretty presumptuous statement based on absolutely no evidence

IIRC the Ravens in the AFC Championship game in 2011 were the only winning team we beat all season, and extremely lucky to even do that. Crazy.

Here is another presumptuous statement: you'll get drunk Saturday night and pass out in the women's restroom.

Good to see Mills trying to give it a go. Hopefully he is ready but I fear we are too thin at the position to also dress someone who could easily re-tweak the injury.

Could happen…. but let’s also not pretend that the Dolphins are a powerhouse team who isn’t on a 4 game losing streak. Their run game isn’t that great and neither is their pass defense.

The Patriots held their offense to just 13 points last time.
