Dont waste this defense. Play Zappe

We loose on Sunday, you will get your wish against Buffalo!

It is so difficult hearing this guy speak... is it an act? If this is really how this guys communication is, then it's no wonder we are so dysfunctional and putrid on offense and Mac's seemingly had enough.

I would still like one more "plus" defensive tackle like Payne in FA, a tall CB, and fast inside LB. Then the draft is all offense. Maybe the Pats think Sam Roberts can compete at IDL but I assume he is more of a Guy replacement than a "plus" player like Payne, so I would like someone like Payne. Perkins could still emerge on the outside like Uche did but can't expect that.
Williams, Wade have impacted the CB group. Williams being a bust and Wade not even seeing the field.. had these guys worked out then we'd be ok getting by with injuries.. I've been clamoring for 3,4 yr. proven vet at corner we could target..

MLB, DT on defense is priority, as you stated everything else has to be on offense.. I expect Billy O to have us at least NFL standards offense

In other words"play Zappe because I like him better than Mac"

I think Cam was also way more likeable than Mac. I don't want him starting for my team either.

It must be that BB actually instructs MP every game - "start with two 3-and-outs the first quarter, play for FG's in quarters 2 & 3, don't call passes in the RZ, and we'll count on our D & ST to score the touchdowns... and, break!"

I have no doubt Patricia is a very bright guy, he just talks fast and is in a no-win situation. Chris Gasper said something pretty insightful a while ago: the thinking process for coaching offense is vastly different from the mindset for defense. It's like being fluent in Greek and suddenly expected to become fluent in Portuguese, they're that different (and complex) at the NFL level. Patricia should've declined BB's unwise offer but apparently saw it as a challenge he could handle and quickly was in over his head.

Happy Friday to all, getting you ready for today's activities:

That's is very sensible, your right he is a very intelligent person. I believe he's an aeronautics major or something..

Like ty law stated.. it's all about how you communicate the Xs and Os to the players.. I don't feel from what I can witness communication is his strong suit..

Yes he does talk very fast, and he doesn't seem to make eye contact.. socially awkward. But as you said perfectly put.. calling offense is totally different than defense.

He and judge will do anything bb ask as they feel endeared and endebted to him.. my guess is why they agreed to handle these roles.

Your right he should have respectfully declined to call offensive plays.. should have been Caley if BB wanted to stay in house.. reports were Caley wanted to be Named offensive coordinator if he took the job.. Tom Curran said long hours, low pay.. and having to take jobs without clear tittles.. are what the staff is made up of.

Now do the opposite with the # of sacks on offense lol

Pats QBs have been sacked 37 times thus far, putting them at No. 19 of 32 teams. I'm sure PFF has a team-by-team "sack rate" breakdown, something to check out.

The hits keep on coming it seems... at this point project's for a big day for Hill/Waddle.. Unless front 4 can stiffle Bridgewater

If Mills, Jack, Marcus and Phillips are all out, there may only be one path to victory and Bill will have to decide whether to give the order…..

There will be no 3rd down too long for the Dolphins. The Pats may not force a punt all game.

I think you're giving Teddy Bridgewater too much credit and the Pats pass rush not enough credit.

I think theyll win this game, they have feasted on backup qbs so far this year, I dont see this being any different...The banged up secondary would be the only cause for concern

Maybe Troy Brown can be activated to fill in for Marcus returning punts and playing CB. Heh.
