No, he didn't have a great arm when he 1st came up, and I expect nothing from Mac, but HOPE his arm gets stronger.
Nice Try though.
Took 10 secs on YouTube to find.

Mac Jones showed something today
He was better in the second half. It’s hard to judge. I admit I would have replaced him at halftime just to get something going.

I don't want Bill drafting another WR in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round for a long time.
I agree assessing wide outs are not one of his streagnths

“We’re on to Buffalo” - yeah that’s right - gonna take me a week (Miami) off after these last 2 debacles….

Tom had a very strong arm from day one. Look at this throw back in 2003 without even properly setting his legs.

His arm remained strong as he got older which was the unusual part. It's lazy reporting that says he had a weak arm simply because he was a 6th round pick.

Also he is a freak - to expect Mac to be like him just because he is our QB is delusional homerism and nothing else.

That's not even 60 air yards. Hoyer can and has even done (completed) that. Even Cam did that in 2020 with his bad shoulder. Mac can throw prob up to low 60s if not injured.

Yup - let's just take the Bills route and trade for a sure thing.

Better use of 1st and 2nd round picks than reaching on Oline and DBs.

He just failed to do that right now.

Not lazy reporting, Tom did a radio interview where he said they wanted him to work on his arm strength, they asked how does he do that and he said by working on his leg strength.

He scored one TD, was gifted another. I wouldn’t say he was terrible but just typical Mac. KB pretty much carried the offense, including Mac at the end.

"Gifted"? It hit the his target right in the hands. The bounce was fortunate, but let's not say that Jones was "gifted" that TD given that his throw was on the freakin' money.

You don’t know ball. But you like Zappe so that’s obvious
I can see the trajectory the velocity the speed of the football.
I know that his arm was too weak to get the ball to a place that Thornton could make a play on it.

We traded up for Thonton who’s best talent is running down the field faster than anyone on defense and Mac can’t get the ball in front of him DEEP to go get it.

That is a weakness and negating the whole reason we traded for the guy.
It’s like buying a Porche and never going past second gear.

I am not wrong.

And they find another way to lose

His scouting report said he didn’t have a strong arm.
His scouting report said a lot of stupid things.

Chris Simms who does not even like him constantly says his arm was always underrated.

I am not saying that he had a Favre arm but he always had a good NFL arm.

Mac did exactly what you’re saying he can’t do and Thorton dropped it.
