Bledsoe was like a Son to Kraft too then Brady came along yeah it's a business. All indications says that Kraft is a Mac Jones fan and blames the coaching decisions.

Can't complete 13-of-31 and remain the starter. Fortunately, that's an anomaly and not the norm.If Jones plays like he did yesterday the rest of the way, maybe and I emphasize maybe, Kraft would ask for a change.
But who is the Brady who has come along to replace Jones? Kraft was on board trading Bledsoe after Brady won a Super Bowl. And Bledsoe netted the Pats a first round pick. So there was a strategic reason to trade Bledsoe.
I question the physical tools but also agree he shouldn't be classified as a "lost cause." He and the passing offense are a disaster this season... coaching, play-calling, pass blocking, receivers and the quarterback to blame. All this while RB Stevenson is having a breakout season.I don't think Mac is a lost cause, he has the physical tools.
I just question whether Zappe has more upside and mental toughness.
Mac is a snowflake, and his feeling seem to control him.
What's your unsuperficial analysis then? Because I'm seeing the same issues he had last year that a better OC covered up.Because I don't look at the end of last year superficially. He had good games and bad games during that stretch. Some of it wasn't all his fault either because the defense sucked.
Again you are just doing what the OP poster is doing, Take good games and bad games and lump them together to make the play look worse than it is. How can you completely blame him for the Bills games when (which he was ok in the playoffs) when the defense didn't force the Bills to punt in two full games? That is why I don't do superficial analysis like this.
A 2 TD game? What are the odds? The year isn't over yet I have Vegas bet on Mac. They let you bet on anything.

Mechanics are bad, especially when hurried, but bad a lot
Doesn't recognize the blitz or where pressure is coming from
Accuracy drops way down when he's off platform
Has trouble reading good defenses
Doesn't keep his eyes downfield
Doesn't have great pocket presence
What i listed were not his strengths last year. The fact that you think they were, means you don't have the ability to do any analysisBut none of this say he is the reason for the offense is so bad this year. We can do all this for for the o-line, the coaching, the receivers, etc.
Yes, Jones has regressed this year. Most of the stuff you listed as negatives this year were his strengths last year. What changed? Last year he was praised for his accuracy, his pocket presence, his ability to see the field, his ability to go through his progressions, etc. The fact that his strengths have become weaknesses is the biggest indictment on Patricia.
Jones has been part of the problem this year. For most of the season, he has been far less than the coaching and the o-line. And the fact that he has regressed so much usually goes to coaching.
And that's misleading. Throw out last week because he was 24-of-35 (68.6%) for 235-yards and his pick was on a batted pass.
However, yesterday was so bad, it makes the "two weeks" look bad. He was decent last week. Yesterday was his career-worst, eclipsing his previous worst game, which was the second Buffalo outing last season (14-of-32 [43.8%] 145yds 2 INTs). Definitely brutal.
Jones completed 68.6% of his passes last week against the Cardinals. He was 24 for 35 for 235, 0 TDs, and 1 INT. Not great numbers, but not bad numbers especially when you factor the INT wasn't his fault and the Pats ran the ball for two scores (one was a first and goal off a 39 yard pass from Jones to Henry).
Yesterday was an awful game for Jones, but I am not sure why you are combining the two games to make it look like last week's game was also a bad game for Jones.
mac jones and clutch are words you can not use in the same sentence. He can't make plays if a play breakes down or sth.Cardinals pass defense
237.6 YPG (23rd)
7.1 YPA (18th)
69.7% comp pct. against (32nd)
99.0 passer rating against (30th)
25 TDs (30th)
43.2 third down pct. (25th)
Their #1 CB Byron Murphy was inactive. The pats scored 20 points & went 3/11 on 3rd down. Mac was not good vs. them IMO.
