Without pass rush, lockdown corners are useless as the QB will figure out a way.

We need a bosa clone, couple of athletic and fast linebackers, 2 offensive tackles, 2 wide receivers with a wr 1a/b , punter, kicker and also a lockdown corner.


Not sure if just the corner alone makes this a great team.

We have a excellent pass rush, we are top 5 in the league with sacs, pressure % , however most of that was when barmore was in.. however I get what you mean.. we need at least 2 more LBs CJ moseley types. Basically we have some pieces if we can add some elite talent then that makes us a contender again.

All the elite WR are signed so Hopkins comes to mind. This off season the only way we gain elite talent is by trading picks!

Lock down corners aid the pass rush, ty law, Revis, Gilmore so to speak. When we had those types the rush was able to get there more often than not.

Look at the jets yesterday, sauce pretty much eliminated Diggs yesterday..

Not saying a corner makes them a great team I said it would aid the defense as BB would be able to be more exotic, free up others to cover the TE and biltz packages.. that's what a lock down corner gives you. Surtain is 6'2 stud who erases WRs.. would you rather have him or Jonathan Jones on Diggs again.

Bill the HC can stay provided new OC and OLine coaches are hired and draft is completely managed independently by Groh and wolf.

BB isn't dumb he has to know that the coaching setup is a catastrophe. Unless the Patriots finish the season 0-7 I don't think a HC change is made yet but the other changes we all want to see will be made.

I understand what u mean.. however just look at this season for sample size against elite WRs. I mentioned the lockdown corner becuase that's what always made BBs defenses so multiple.. can't have JAGs covering elite WRs.

Jets have the defensive blue print of how to stiffle offenses. But yes your right we have other needs however that lockdown corner has to be in the top 5.

I've been beating the Groh drum for a while now.. I'm glad to see people are starting to catch on.. he's the talent evaluator if I'm starting a team he's my GM. I honestly feel after the 2nd bills blowout week 17.

That will be the icing on the cake to advise the great BB to change his offensive staff.

While I detest MP as the OC hire, we all know BB installs the game plans, and probably governs what MP can call... so it's as much on him to not be embarrassed tonight.
He can't lose to 2 of his QB draft picks!?

Funny thing is, when Josh came back the organization, he was offensive consultant with Billy O. MP returns he get senior advisor to football, operations, o line coach, and sadly play caller..

What did he accomplish to gain all this power? Judge was a special teams coach.. when last here

Yep, this is EXACTLY what ownership needs to tell him... New OC & OL coach, Both from OUTSIDE the building; and NO grocery-shopping privileges during Draft Weekend.... Probably a dedicated QB coach too, also from the Outside...
