he called welker to cut short his interview with kramer with 2 minutes into the interview. i dont normally listen to them except for the brady interviews and this is what they find to dicuss.

2 minutes seems long enough anyway. Can the guy even talk? Does he sound intelligent, or just a bunch of meathead, deer in the headlight responses?

Do you think he wanted to recap the game with his team in the locker room while it was still fresh in their minds? D&C look for any little crumb, this is just more noise for them. I thought it took BB longer than normal to come to the podium this game so I'd guess that he had a lot to go over with his players after that game.

Welker isn't the greatest of interviews, but I don't care. His job is to catch the ball and move the offense. I thought he politely ended the interview with Andrea though. I seem to remember him having a smile on his face while telling her that Bill requested his presence.

Actually, I think Bill was trying to protect Welker. My guess is that he could see that Andrea's Patriot-lust was reaching the point where she might, ahem, take matters into her own hands. :scared:

Or....... He just wanted to get the eff out of there. Same ole dumb questions get asked and he just wanted to get out. He looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there. So WW puled the old "Oh, the coach needs me, I gotta go.". That's what I would have done. Do you really think, after the game that BB was standing there off camera timing WW interview. Come on, that doesn't make sense.

Welker's not that big a guy so she mighta overpowered him and ravished him right there. Not good for the Pats' tough guy image to see a used, discheveled Welker whimpering in the foetal position, totally drained...

Well, I know of a certain quarterback who's supposed to be intelligent but always sounds like he just stepped out of some shack in Appalachia. Go figure.

Either that, or he was "deflating the ego", a bit, although I don't see that being a problem with Welker.

Welker does look profoundly uncomfortable during interviews. Yet he looks oddly comfortable catching a ball while being pummeled by multiple defenders. I'll take it.

what about the theory that BB was signaling WW to get it over with. BB might have been pissed with the team's performance, and wanted them to stop talking to the media and get in the lockerroom for an earful.

and then he showed up late to the post game presser. and of course just talked about how good the eagles were....

i like that theory.

i also think Welker could stop saying "you know" every sentence, but in general his answers were pretty good.

Please there is only 2 times of the week to listent to D&C that that is for the Brady interview on Monday and the Boomer Esieson's interview also on Monday's. Both are usually archived on their sight by tuesday or can be listened to on Patriots.com. So actually there is no reason to listen to those 2 self ejaculating, shameless self promoting jerks at all.

He left when the questions went from being about his performance to whether the Eagles created a blueprint to defeat the Pats, something he should never try to answer anyway. Good call to skip out.
