Yeah that’s who I was referring to. I’m on my phone so I couldn’t make out the number very well. He could have set up a lemonade stand and made $5 back there while waiting for the ball. He panicks easily and loses sight of the field. That's the one thing I really liked about Zappe whether he's better or not, he kept his eyes downfield and tended to see the whole field even under pressure
Play was to Hunter. He looked the wrong way but it's someone else's fault he looked the wrong way. Even Mac has said he needs to improve where his eyes look.
Right after he set his feet, he had someone open in the back of the end zone. He’d had to lead him a bit inside, but that was a missed touchdown. I wonder if he just doesn’t trust his arm strength to get the ball there before the DB covering the flat made a break on it.
Josh Allen didn’t throw a ball across his body 50-60 yards. That is physically impossible. He might have thrown across the field 50 yards, but that would be a case where he had time to turn his body to face the receiver.
Jones didn’t have time to change direction to face Bourne in the end zone.
I don't think he could catch a pass once he stepped oob in the EZ so he took himself out of the play. HH had a TD called back for the same reason. Probably coached to do exactly that. I suppose he could've tried to break up the almost INT but not sure if that would've been a penalty.

How do you know the receiver progression? You have the Pats playbook? Why would you look to the one reciever running into the teeth of the defense in the middle while you have a 3 reciever set on the other side? 3 chances are better than one. You don't make any sense.
Huh? Teams overload the receivers on one side and then throw to the loan receiver on the other side all the time. By stacking the receivers on one side, you leave the receiver on the other side in single coverage. If it is a favorable match up, it can be a big play potential.
Fact is Jones looked to Parker first and since he was running a slant, it would have been a quick strike. But he was covered pretty well.

You even concluded that if he tried to make that throw, it would've been INT. But that's the problem right there. If Mac is leery of making a TD throw to a wide open WR because he's scared ball may be INT while down 17 pts in the 4th QTr, he's not the guy.

Ok, let’s say it was designed to Henry. We can agree it was Henry’s fault for not looking back for the ball. Again the video clearly shows that Henry wasn’t looking back for the ball until after the defender was in Jones’ face.
BTW, I don’t actually blame Henry either. That was all on Brown because he didn’t give the Pats enough time for the play to develop. Even with a quick out route, Henry didn’t have enough time to cut into his route to look back for the ball.
Quitting. I’d say he shouldn’t see the field for the rest of the season but, unless Thornton is ready to assume that role, we need him out there until we are eliminated.
When I coached at the HS levels, that drove me up a f.ucking wall. I can’t stand a quitter.

I guess I misunderstand. Didn’t think you’d be bringing up the opposite side of the field when he had a clear window and no one around him on the short side of the field.
I’m surprised nobody is talking about when Mack Wilson went Kiwanuka on Josh Allen before the TD pass. As I saw Wilson closing in, I saw visions of posters itching to get on here and say “I told you so” about Wilson and McMillian until we saw that horrible attempt of a tackle. Then Jon Jones giving up in the end zone. It reminded me of 2002 with Steve Martin jogging around not giving a fuk.
