I disagree with almost everything here.

1. How was it less talent, when it's the same group +Parker (16 yds last night). Once teams had enough film on Mac after the bye, he was throttled. It's just continued.
2. He had McDaniels as coach and ended the season 1-4. Come on man, enough with the excuses. He had a wide open Meyers on a crosser and over threw his pass, same w/ Thornton.
3. Everyone has injuries now, yet they win. Did you see Bills' LT? Most OLs across the league are decimated.
4. Success elsewhere? MIA fans were glad to see Parker depart. He's supposed to be our #1 and has 1 TD. Bourne has been unimpressive. Agree on Jakobi.
5. Our running backs? What RBs? We have Dre and nobody else. That's shameful. Pats are #23 in rushing yds/g. How is that excellent?

Yes we've regressed. The ability to run simple plays? That's the whole problem, offense is too simple. Good teams sit back and pick us apart. There's a huge lack of talent in comparison with the good teams. That's so obvious.

But Mac was the 5th alternate for the runner up for the third Pro Bowl spot last year!

Sure, he sucked the 2nd half of last season. And the 1st half of this season. But that's only two halves of seasons. You're not being fair.

If he had sucked in the 2nd half against the Bears, then I would judge Mac a bust.

BB is still the best coach in the NFL, no denying that.. however his staff, his choice of having unqualified people run his offense and accend his young qb has people critical.. if BB ever stepped away I'd rather have Sean Payton as a head coach..
Lol, no he's not. He's 23-22 in the last 3 seasons. He's not even close to the best coach right now. He's been outcoached numerous times by rookie coaches for pete's sake.

I'm glad this was mentioned.. What a ****ing gutless ****ing Quitter move that was... ALL THREE ****ING TIMEOUTS...
Belichick said he didn't want to risk a Mac injury. He's got a loser's mentality now. Sounds like an excuse Todd Bowles would utter.

A few weeks ago, the Jets went toe to toe with the Bills in the Swamp and won. Allen ran a lot but threw two picks. Saleh had him guessing and brought a lot of different looks. The Bills only scored 17 points. Why couldn’t Bill & Co. do that?

Totally agree.

He treading on Jim Caldwell territory without Brady probably even lower.

Bill had success when there was Brady and continuity in coaches . Last 2 years were masked due to Josh being there to lend more continuity and a weaker schedule with injuries to key players helping us with wins ( Derrick Henry and Chubb not available for key games etc. And 2 gimmes a year with jets under Zach Wilson.)

If not for those our records would look even worrisome. Mac and Josh helped us be competitive and not look so outmatched

Whereas this year it's been a national abomination. Totally putrid performances.

Any other franchise would have sacked the entire coaching staff after yesterday's game.

I have been a homer and IBBWT , but sorry the game has moved past him. Time to move on.

Our offense couldn't sustain a drive to keep the Bills off the field, despite finally forcing a punt. 10 point hole was enough of a obstacle for our inept offense. One side is screwing the other.

Not having Mills was brutal last night. They have an adequate secondary but no margin for error against elite teams.

And Buffalo didn't have Von Miller. I wonder how bad our offense really would have looked with Miller flying off the edge.

Do you really need to wonder?

The guy went 10-7 with a rookie and aside from that has 7-9 (Newton) 11-5 (Cassel) and 5-11 (Bledsoe). One losing season so far since Brady…albeit, we could be on the verge of another :(
The 5-11 Bledsoe year shouldn't even count since we were tossing out players who didn't fit and replacing them with old hold the fort guys. I mean, they gave Terry Glenn the heave-ho and replaced him with David Patten. Greg Spires was shown the door (became a perennial Pro Bowler) in favor of Anthony Pleasant.

People also tend to forget the 1996 year. Belichick was the notable addition to the team that year, we went from 6-10 to the Super Bowl.

I still remember his comments about how it was tough spending so much cash last year on free agents. Look what that's gotten them. Sure, a few were hits - but the majority of those high-priced FA acquisitions have regressed or never did anything to begin with. If the Pats end up with a losing record just a year after he spent all that money and then he's expected to spend a tidy sum again in 2022 I wouldn't be shocked if he started getting involved in things - which will obviously make Bill mad. Who knows how that ends.
If Kraft does this, he ends up with someone worse than Pete Carroll, while Belichick goes elsewhere and wins a Super Bowl. Belichick would be unemployed for maybe a few hours.

Bill's responsible for both who the quarterback is and the players on the roster.
It's called rebuilding the roster. We have a lot of very young players. Need a few more.

Have a look at what happens when your team suddenly becomes deficient in a couple areas: this year's Rams. They went from Super Bowl champs to 3-8.

When your team has big holes, other teams will exploit them. It doesn't mean there's no hope. It means you need to get the players to fill the deficiencies/

It's kind of amazing how Bill let so many top quality players go, with a record of winning it all, and gave that cash to other lesser players. I think his defenders were saying that he likes to spend on depth and not on top players. Somehow we ended up with neither.
What are you talking about?

What top quality players?

Only Brady? Who else are you referring to? Gilmore? Gilmore was injured and is now a shell of himself. There's a reason why the team we traded him to let him go. Trey Flowers? Is he even playing football anymore? I can't think of anyone else. Who?

Worse part about this loss is there's a good chance MIA & NYJ win this week. CIN may give KC a fight and who knows how LAC do against LV. We're already the #9 seed but could be looking at being 2 games behind the WC teams w/ 5 remaining.

1. You answered your own question. We didn't have Parker, Thornton, Rham didn't play much, and our OL didn't have the bad injuries they have this year. That's lesser any way you cit it.
2. The offense was much better last year with McDaniels, you're the only one contesting that.
3. I can't believe anyone here would actually defend the way Patricia has coached the OL. It is definitely worse than last year's. Why are you defending it? To put the total blame on Mac?
4. Yes, success elsewhere. He has 5,000 yards over his career. That's success. Bourne was really good last year. When we had a good OC.
5. OK, have it your way. Rhamondre sucks.

Give me a break dude, Belichick isn't going anywhere to start a new system from scratch at 71. Where do you think he'll go, Denver w/ Wilson? How about CAR w/ Darnold. I know, HOU w/ Mills. That's it. He wanted to draft Mills. Maybe he can win a SB for HOU. Lol
