Wasn't Taylor released?

This'll be it for me on this subject, but since you asked:

Yes, (again) obviously... REF: final (hopelessly meaningless) game of 2020 season...
Well, I don't think those are "obvious" as there are easy arguments to make that he made those decisions for the best of the team and people just disagree with them. But I appreciate you sharing your point of view as I really didn't understand the argument.

Wrong. Thielen is much better than the WR the Bills fans and front office want to get rid of ASAP.

They hate the guy.

I'd take Hockenson over Knox instantly as well.

The Vikings receiver group is much much better than the Bills group, and even the Bills fans and analysts would take that group 100x before taking the Bills group once. It's a no brainer
It's funny how Dawson Knox have his best games against the Patriots he seems to find the EZ against the Patriots Defense you hear that McCourty.

And he'd rather win for himself than for the team?
It's pretty clear BB has put his personal interests above what's best for the team from a pure football standpoint. Just look at the front office and sideline personnel. For example, was there not a better alternative for the OC than Patricia who has no meaningful experience on that side of the ball yet he is clearly one of BB's closest personal confidants. BB seems to be emphasizing the path of least resistance in the epilogue of his career. Guys like Patricia and Judge aren't going to push back on his ideas. Neither will the more inexperienced staffers he tends to employ. All that said, I think BB believes he is creating an environment around him that is most conducive for him to maximize his potential for success (but only his way). I don't believe his intent to be nebulous.

Ugh. I feel like this comes up every year and every year the same stats need to be posted for the loud minority. Flying Elvis vrs pat always ends up being about 70% the logo the team has won 6 SBs, 10 AFCCG, and been the team of the past TWO decades in, and about 30% whiners who need something to kvetch about. Elvis looks better, represents the new winning tradition better, and should be the permanent logo indefinitely. Now you want to have a red alternative, I’ll disagree cuz it’s my least fav color, but there was a really sharp looking Elvis one of Kevin Faulk somebody photoshopped I could get behind.
Ya but we would have won 9 SB's and 14 AFCCG with the old uniforms. Prove me wrong.:haha:

The report that came out about Patricia and Judge was that he didn't want to bring in an outside guy who might leave after a year and force the entire team to go to a new system after a year. He didn't want to promote Carey because he didn't want Carey to leave after a year. So he decided to go with coaches he respected and probably would stay for a while. Was it a mistake? I certainly think so. But I don't think his intentions were personal and I still can't put the threads of an argument together that he wants to win games for himself but it's somehow bad for the team for him to try to win games.

What's really "peanuts" is our available salary cap space... And it ain't gonna be Nearly as much next year as some people believe either.
It's a decent little sum but it's definitely not this huge mega-sum like some folks believe... It's not as much as they had in 2021 when they went on a bit of a spending spree, and they also got to take advantage of a depressed market when most other teams were very short on space.

They'll still have a lot relative to most other teams. They're uniquely positioned to probably be ~top 5 in cap space while also having a high-ish number of players already signed. So, they should be able to use their decent chunk of space to target specific needs.

I wish that the Patriots would either let him play or trade him so he cant come back.

Its maddening the way he never gets a legit chance to showcase his skills. Small shifty guys like Taylor are deadly out in space in the NFL.

I would think they'd try to move some money around to make more room if they wanted to.

If he can't go that's a significant loss right up there with Von Miller.

How about paying these coaches more so they will stay rather than uproot their families? How do other teams retain key coaches?

I still can't conjure up a Patriots score above 30. We haven't been able to even make Buffalo punt. I have Buffalo scoring 29 points in this game and that's with the Patriots defense playing reasonably well. If Buffalo has a TOP advantage and third down conversion rate like Minnesota then they'll score 35+ points.

Our coaches are mostly leaving to become head coaches or go with the ones becoming new head coaches. I don't think it has anything to do with pay.
