I'm not worried about this game one bit. I'm firmly in the Jets nonbeliever camp. Their head coach is an idiot and their quarterback is a bum. Good luck with that combination. Jets are headed for a 3-5 finish at best which would put them at 9-8 and battling for the last wild card spot. Watching Zach Wilson in a playoff game would be comical.

The week 8 matchup pretty much came down to Wilson's incompetence. Mac just can't be terrible in this one and the Patriots should win comfortably... 22-13.
You can believe that but they've beaten @GB, MIA & BUF (holding both of those explosive Os to 17 pts each). They've only lost to BAL, CIN & NE (all teams w/ winning records). They have games against CHI, DET & JAX, so that's 9 wins right there. They can win 1 more against Pats, BUF, MIN, SEA or MIA. Probably SEA since they match up well with them. At 10-7 they'll be in. Their D is for real. All they have to do is limit Wilson's TOs. IMO they have a better chance of making the playoffs than the Pats (even with a loss this Sunday) that have a much tougher schedule.

I could still see the jets losing one of those 3 easy games. They are alot like us in the sense that they have ‘winnable’ games but no game is a sure thing. Great defense but they lost breece and Wilson is probably even worse than mac. The defense will have to be perfect week in week out unless they do a 180 offensively.

I feel like they drop one of the easy ones and win one or two of the 4 tough ones. Hopefully just one. And of course, Sunday is essentially a must win for us.

Yea anything is possible. They'll get Corey Davis & 1 or both of their IR'd tackles back which should help their offense. Robinson is a decent back, so w/ more games he should get better on their O. We'll see how they perform on Sunday. Hopefully they sh*t the bed again.

Pats also have 2 short weeks in a row:
MNF to Sunday, 6 days.
Sunday to Saturday, 6 days.

I believe the Pats had one of the fewest rest days vs their opponents this season.
And not against the sisters of the poor either.

All they have to do is limit Wilson's TOs.
Is that all? Good luck with that because Wilson hopelessly sucks.

Green Bay's offense isn't explosive. Green Bay also lost to Detroit and had a 5-game losing streak.

The Jets win over the Bills was a fluke because Josh Allen played like dogsh*t. The Bills will blow doors in their next matchup.

The Jets should beat the Bears but Fields is suddenly playing at a much higher level than Wilson which could tip the scale. The 2 wins I'm definitely giving the Jets are DET & JAX. Probably CHI too. All of their remaining road games are against better teams, except possibly the Patriots, but Wilson is 0-3 with a 50 passer rating against the Patriots and I highly doubt he's turning that garbage around this weekend. I'll stick with my low confidence in the NYJ... 3-5 finish to the season.

There are 19 QBs with more INTs than Wilson (5) incl. Allen, Rodgers, Mahomes, & Jackson. He's only thrown INTs against us and PIT. We're clearly his kryptonite.

GB isn't explosive but MIA and BUF are and were both held to 17 points. That's impressive. GB beat us and just beat the Cowboys. A W is a W.

Look, I'm not saying Wilson is good, he clearly sucks but that team's D is really good (top 10 in total D & pts allowed). They've faced 4 top 10 total yds Os (6 of top 13) & 5 top 10 in points. They can win despite their poor QBing.

Since you're so confident, want to put $$ on them winning >3 games?

Wilson is not good. Yet. But can be a good mobile game manager with an arm to strike occasionally.

What the 1st Pats game hopefully taught him, is that playing hero-ball isn't necessary.
4 wins leading up to the Pats game with Zach playing controlled and conservative.
Then he craps the bed trying to be Mahomes vs NE.
Gets ripped apart by media n fans, and dials it back vs Buffalo for a huge win.

I think the biggest difference in this game is that Zach (should have) learned to let the team win while he gradually develops. If so, Sunday should be a hell of a game.

The NFL is his kryptonite. He's not playing the Texas State Bobcats anymore.

Wilson's INT% ranks 28th in the NFL. His TD% is 32nd. The only starting QB with a worse passer rating is Kenny Pickett. I suppose the Jets defense is pretty good but the 85' Bears wouldn't have won with Zach Wilson.

Also, the loss of Breece Hall is going to catch up with them because none of their other RBs are capable of anything close to 5.8 yards per carry.

Since you're so confident, want to put $$ on them winning >3 games?
If Miami is resting players in week 17 then I suppose the Jets could win that one. The Jets week 5 win over the Dolphins doesn't even count in my book because Tua was out, then Bridgewater got hurt on the first play, and they were stuck with Skylar Thompson. All things being equal I don't see the Jets winning any of their remaining road games. So I would take that bet.

Let's do it. Loser donates $100 to Patsfans.com

No excuses. A win is a win regardless of injuries or whoever is playing QB for Jets or other teams they face.

EDIT: Bet is Jets win >3 remaining games. If they do I win. If they don't you win. If there's a tie, I lose.

I know the Jets beat the Bills after our game with them, but I just don't see them having the firepower to beat our D.
The endless unknown is how productive our O can be, and I think we'll know early in the game if anything has been done to pull MP's head out of his @ss. And maybe just having the OL back to health will help Mac and the run game enough to survive.

100% right. When Bedard (?) mentioned this play, I was wondering what he was looking at. We had 3 guy run into defenders, one guy turned and did a curl. Clearly the best play was exactly where Mac was looking at, a WR isolated one on one with a safety deep. There are 5 defenders the other way.

100% Wrong.

Corky should've read the coverage better and thrown a laser to DawgHouse even before he turned... Free money, first down, move the chains, then try the longer stuff on the next two snaps if you want. Period.

Staring down the one lone receiver on the left was an Instant Loser that should've taken Corky only a FRACTION OF A SECOND to figure-out.

That particular ****-up was ALL CORKY. THE. END.
