Is this your attempt to deflect from a QB sliding at the 3? I'm not saying you are wrong to blame Patricia, but it's not all on him.

So his slide was the reason Patricia called two predictable and ineffective run plays up the middle when the interior of the line is struggling? And the third down play was not great either which is the reason Jones had to try to run for the TD in the first place. But let’s blame Jones for that series of plays when two of the plays were running plays.

Mac has not played badly, but if we are hoping for a legit franchise guy, he has certainly played disappointingly.

It's hard to make a final determination, though, given that the only sort of advice Mac likely gets from his OC(s?) is bad, the only guidance misguidance, the playcalling inexplicable. BUT, do you think Mac looks good?? Against THIS team?

I watched last week's game - Ehlinger didn't look like this. That's what a good defense can do to a young quarterback. Just looks scared out there, nowhere near as confident as he was a week ago.

Scared and confused and expecting the worst. Just slightly worse than Mac.

They are telling him not to throw into coverage. This is a guy who used to be very willing to do that.

Yes, Jones isn’t playing poorly. He isn’t elevating the poor play around him like we are used to With Brady. He has just been ok, but isn‘t all his fault.

It was 3rd down from the 5 and he slid. He deserves part of the blame and Patricia doesn't deserve all of the blame like you said.
