When you show players who played 3 games going up against players who played 7.
When you say someone has 21 long throws, and in the next post you reduce that to 12, just to make things fit.
It's really disgraceful how you try to skew stats and present them.
Let's face it, I am here criticizing Mac while also accounting for everything else including bad coaching.
You're a johnny-one-note.
I don’t, I think it’s BS. Jets played like they did all season. Hall was their offense and Wilson is the albatross. Hall is out, BB played zone to minimize runs and dared Zach to beat them, and he looked terrible. But it’s nothing new, they played that way all season, their defense has generally carried them.Honest question... I saw some quotes from media essentially saying the Jets "beat themselves" and that they were a much better/more talented team and that they Jets "played down" to Patriots level. Now, some of these rants were from idiots like Rex Ryan and Bart Scott, but I have heard it on radio and other places too coming into/after yesterday.
Aside from record coming into the game, do people agree with this? I haven't watched a minute of Jets football this season but thought they were somewhat "overachieving" relative to their talent level. I personally would put them "on par" with Patriots and giving Pats a razor-thin advantage due to BB.
My post talked about the previous time he went with stats and compared 3 games to 7.Huh? Mac has played FIVE games, and one of those only lasted a single quarter
3 to 7 is a huge difference.Except I said in my post that some QBs had played more games, you're just ignoring that because it doesn't fit your lies.
I also, posted the #s on a per game & per attempt basis, which showed Zappe was #1 in deep throws per attempt. But again, you don't like the results, so you just lie about it.
The 21 deep throws included, the 12 & all other throws 30+, 40+, 50+. I specifically clarified that, and OWNED I made a mistake. But you can continue making distortions and lies. That's what you do.
It's really disgraceful how you try to distort and lie about my posts just because you don't agree with the stats, created by a well known pro football site. You can continue to lie, I'll stick with the stats, that I've noticed you never bother to argue, just attack the poster.
But you also have to account for how many more snaps Mac has played vs zappe. I couldn't find snap count, but zappe has 33% less attempts than Mac, so as a percentage, zappe is running a much higher PA attackYes, he's got 20 PA vs 10 for Mac, or somerhing like that. I posted the stats from pro football reference. The point is the Pats aren't running a lot of PA UC this season for whatever reason. 30 PA plays out of a combined 230 attempts is 13%. That seems low, especially for the Pats.
I prefer the old school passer rating...Unfortunately, Jones and Wilson have pretty much identical stats for the season. By ESPN's rating, Wilson is actually ahead.

I'm not a feet kisser. My friend, I know you are rattled today after what must have been a very difficult Sunday for you, but be more respectful of your Queen. She allows you to post on this forum, and we know that posting on this forum is what gives you life.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
He's actually 29 by QBRSo Mac, per qbr, is the 32nd best qb in the league, one of a very few sub-mediocrities with more int's than tds. We're supposed to believe Bill is responsible for this, because he is "too mean"? What Nonsense. If Mac is that fragile, he hasn't got a chance of becoming a legit NFL starter. Bill knows this very well, I am sure, and I suspect Mac does as well. We'll see what Mac is made of: we have to. Thanks to Bill for putting us in a position to find out.

Not when I looked earlier this AM. And what difference does it make? He's sub par, right? He's actually 29 by QBR
None, really. It was just different when I lookedNot when I looked earlier this AM. And what difference does it make?
Let's give Lawrence Guy some props. The interior defense was improved against a decent running team. On the Jets TD, did Bledsoe lose the WR or did Bryant not protect the inside? I would like to see Marcus Jones get more time at slot. Peppers not great in coverage but tough in run support. What was the story with Strange? Late in the game. We need Wynn back at tackle unless they think Cajuste can be serviceable.
I prefer it to. I think the ESPN thing is hot garbage. I was just pointing it out.I prefer the old school passer rating...
35. Kenny Pickett (66.8)
34. Zach Wilson (71.0)
33. Baker Mayfield (71.9)
32. Mac Jones (73.1)
I'll give Pickett a break since he's a rookie on a bad team. Wilson is the glaring weak link for the Jets... he's truly comical.
How's this for the 2021 1st round quarterback draft class:
87 Starts
78 TDs
78 INTs
Ok liar. You still don't acknowledge my entire post. Typical of you.3 to 7 is a huge difference.
It's not just "more games."
Come on, and you cherrypicked to get it down from 21 to 12 later on.
It's the height of dishonesty
