Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I don't care one bit about the franchise but they should trade pieces at this point. Devin White is hot garbage but someone will give you a 2nd for him. They can't possibly be serious about giving this guy 100 million. Brady looks like he's making business decisions out there but since when do Godwin and Evans always need perfect balls to complete a catch. What a season.. Pats and Bucs suck.

Tom stunk today. More than the Steelers game. The #s are definitely misleading. Could have easily had 3 INTs tonight and missed a lot of open receivers. Drops didn't help either
It seemed like Brady played not much worse or better than the last few games.
There were big drops ie Julio and Evans. There was a miscommunication with Evans on a red zone pass.

Brady's playing like a top 10 QB but that is not good enough to win with this team. With how bad the run offense and run defense are playing, Brady has to play like a top 5 QB.

Brady had 3 passes batted down. Meanwhile over in the main forum critics had a field day saying The Zapster rookie was too short because he had passes batted down.
Tom's throws were too high and too far ahead time & again. One Evans spectacular catch was well under thrown. Off target. A Brady Evans miscommunication later on. That to me speaks of too few reps.

Yesterday was his worst game by far from what I saw. Again drops didn't help, but he missed throws he usually makes and had 3 easily potential INTs dropped. Had two coverage sacks as well. Only silver lining is that the Oline looked way better with Leverett

The way Brady is playing, I'm certain he is playing with an injury. He had a rotator cuff injury back in week 2 or 3 and he hasn't been quite the same. A rotator cuff injury no matter how minor takes months to properly heal, not weeks.

That deep throw to Scotty Miller in the 4th should have been an easy TD. He had a couple yards on the defender but Brady threw it about 10 yards short. Anyways, that's why I'm not an advocate of Brady standing tall in the pocket. Yeah Brady gives up a series maybe lose the game, but injuries like the rotator cuff lingers and sinking the season.

I had forgotten about the rotator cuff. Would explain things.

I told you all that Brady was done winning Super Bowls.

He should have walked away on top after # 7. His life and career have become a farce and drama show now. TB12 and avocados cant help him either.

But Brady still played good enough to win. 3 or more fumbles/interception is a bad game. 1 to 2 turnovers is average. He again had no turnovers. 300 plus yards.

The main culprit is the run game. 231 vs 44. 7 yards vs 3 yards per attempt. Only an elite QB can overcome that. I've seen enough to surmise that Brady has a lingering injury that's affecting him and Brady doesn't have the luxury of a running game to lean on.

LOL. DO you know how ridiculous that sounds. I told you after SEVEN! LOL.

No way. Look at greats such as Marino and Montana dropping down in various records cause of playing in a different era. Brady played half his career in a different era. These extra couple years should keep him at the top for a couple decades.

If he had retired, a bunch of 2nd rate QB would have passed him on some major stats just as Eli, Rivers, Ryan has passed Marino and Montana.

And if they are breaking up about 1 more year of football, then sadly they would have eventually broken up anyways. In the grand scheme of things, it's pretty trivial of a matter to throw away a marriage for.

He is only 500 yards away from 100,000 total yards. That is a monster stat!

Yeah. Their issues are about more than just football. Divorce is never that simplistic.

There's no way the issues stem from just one more year of football. That's way too simple a way to look at it.

Saints fans coping hard due to their team being hopeless crap going forward

“Wow Brees had a better regular season at age 41 than Brady at age 45! This proves...something! Wait how did 2020 end again?”

Wow. For those expecting months of drama around the divorce going forward you aren’t getting it. Because according to reports it’s done today. Both sides have settled on all matters after lawyers hashed it all out for two months, and it’s done. Marriage over, NDAs signed, everyone moves on.

Huh
