Pre Game Thread- Pats @ Jets

This last game was a historic low like that Kansas City game when the media declared Brady washed up and wrote the Patriots obituary. The team turned it around after that. I think this Jets game will be our turning point.
With Andrew's out and the Jets front, don't count on it. Not to mention a short week of prep.

The Jets smell blood in the water.

A Jets injury flying under the radar is Corey Davis. He has a sprained MCL and unlikely to play Sunday. He is the Jets' leading receiver. With Elijah Moore being phased out of the offense for being a d-bag, that leaves them very thin at receiver and they already a well below average passing attack (may be the lowest in terms of yards since Wilson came back).

Hmmmmm Top RB out Top WR out Zappe has a chance.:)

One thing I'm sure ALL Pats fans will agree on is whoever is QB, we hope he balls out and we steamroll the jets by 40. I'd hate to think there is a single Pat's fan hoping the QB will fail.

I sure fooking hope so....

I do believe that we will see a better complementary football (i.e. the D/ST units do their part)....but the offensive line will have to play a great game. That Jets DL spearheaded by Q. Will has been very good. Q. Will has 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 kick blocked through 7 games....

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody, but the Bears only prepared for Mac Jones last week, because they correctly viewed a healthy Mac Jones as the biggest threat at QB. Unfortunately, he was not healthy.

The second QB they prepared for was Brian Hoyer, even though he wasn't even active, because even with an exactly 0% chance of playing, he is the 2nd biggest threat we have at QB.

That's it. That's all the Patriots QBs that the Bears prepared or showed any respect for.

Get healthy soon, MJ. This team desperately needs you.
Mac's not their best quarterback when he's repeatedly throwing the ball to the other team. You need to look at his stats from his last 9 starts when he has 13 INTs (and 15 turnovers). He's not playing well. Overall the offense has looked better with Zappe.

We've always performed well under BB when fans/media have counted us out. We'll see.
They were 5 point underdogs against Buffalo in the wild card game and lost by 30. ;)

My friend, the Bears were literally preparing for Brian Hoyer more than they were for any QB on our roster not named Mac Jones, and Brian Hoyer is on IR. By "more," I mean that they spent a half an hour watching game film on Hoyer. All of their time was spent on MJ.

Opponents do not respect any QB on this roster other than MJ, and rightfully so. MJ is the GOAT. The other QBs on our roster are the following:

-Literally a thumb
-A guy who was turned away from the only roller coaster in Buttf**k, Kentucky this past summer for not meeting the height requirements
-Someone named Dilbert

They have some DT's who can get to the QB and make it tough in the middle.

Once again BB proves to everyone that you aren't getting any information about who's starting this week at qb today, no matter how many times you ask him. In fact, he has reporters leaving the room more confused than when they arrived as only, he can do, kind of like the old Abott and Costello "who's on first" routine:

Buffalo was the much better team with the best qb in the league at home, we were playing with no names on defense and Myles Bryant getting beat like a red headed stepchild all day. I could give you multiple examples of when nobody thought we would win or compete, and we surprised everyone!!! I know you probably don't want to hear that, but it's true!!

Maybe we do lose, but I wouldn't count us out quite yet!!!

Well IF BB's First and First Defense show up again it won't matter who Starts. We'll be down the insurmountable two scores before you know it and we all are accustomed to the ending.

I have a feeling we are going to surprise this week. My goal is to be at one of his pressers, just to see the look on the poor reporters faces when they think they're getting an answer only to be told absolutely nothing.

This Defense is really crippled without Barmore they better hope he's upgraded by game time.
Without Barmore they have issues, without Barmore and Dugger they literally are crippled.

Field Yates says that Mac Jones took 90% of the snaps today and will start on Sunday. Field Yates is a good friend of Steve Belichick.

Man, it would be the ultimate betrayal if the blabbiest guy on the team is Bill's son!

Well, unless Belichick wanted it out without him committing to Mac.

But this can't be!
