the deep pass to Parker was overthrown - Parker stretched out and made an incredible catch - its not like it landed in his breadbasket
Wait for the raves about the throw to Meyers, next.

Fair, but I don't know how you come to that conclusion based on his 3.5 games of play, other than based on his draft status. You can say height, but other qbs have made it work at that size. Not writing him off. I think of him today as I thought of him this morning. Probably not an NFL starter, but could have a long successful career as a back up QB.
But he’s got that Ohio St qb stink on him. You want us to be the Guinea pig in taking a QB who will break the trend?CJ Stroud
First, the Giants GM forced a OC and QB coach on Judge. They weren't his guys. But have you really been watching Daniel Jones? The Giants need to move on from him. I bet they'd take Mac Jones straight up in a trade of Joneses. Daniel Jones is not good. Not saying he's the guy, but Mac Jones looked alot better last year when he had a real coach in McDaniels instead of two bozos in Patricia and Judge who decided to change the offense. How soon we forget all the praise he got last year.
Only thing changed was the offense and the coaching. To me that's a bigger issue. Bill hiring these retreads who have failed everywhere else.
Look at Daniel Jones now that Joe judge isn't his coach.
YessJust for the record. You are saying that Zappe sucked tonight after the initial good play because he didn’t start and if he started, he would have been awesome. Just want that on the record.

I agree, I think they are just short at a couple crucial spots.Yes of course I do, and it's not even going to be a monumental job.
We were exploited once again where we are weak and have been for a couple years: linebacker.
Myles Bryant and Juwaun Bentley cannot cover. Jamie Collins has no business being in there.
Our LT and RT need to be replaced.
The only thing that is beyond Belichick, perhaps, is the QB position. But we don't need an All-Pro at that position. We need competence.
LBs and tackles can be found inFA and the draft.
The QB position is the question.
There's some good young talent on this team: Rhamondre, Harris, Thornton, Meyers, Onwenu and Strange, Barmore, the 3 Joneses, Dugger, and come good vets too like Wise and Judon. We just need 2 backers and 2 tackles.
This is not a hugely difficult thing to improve
Mac is certainly more likely to be a journeyman QB like Testeverde and Fitzpatrick for example...he is never going to be a long term solution in the pros IMONot writing him off. I think of him today as I thought of him this morning. Probably not an NFL starter, but could have a long successful career as a back up QB.
I'm starting to get pulled back to wanting Zappe to start next week.
both receivers showed great poise in balls that were challenges to grabIt was a 50-50 ball that was placed where Parker was in the best position to get it. He deserves credit for that although Parker deserves more for the catch. The Meyers pass was a bad throw and a great diving catch by Meyers.
Yess that's Mac Picks ceiling. Not writing him off. I think of him today as I thought of him this morning. Probably not an NFL starter, but could have a long successful career as a back up QB.
OK they laid an egg.One of the most disappointing games in recent memory. Trent Brown was bad, our defense was bad, our special teams was bad, Mac was bad, Myles Bryant was bad- you get the picture.
Just a really bad game.
Let's discuss!!!
I don’t buy thatBB just said that pulling Jones was not a benching for performance, and that playing both QBs was the plan from the beginning.

With better QB play, it's possible Tyquan is that guy. He snagged those balls out of the air tonight. And Meyers and Parker are ideal 2nd guys.WR is mostly fine - I would like a “true WR1” but I’m not as worried about it as the other positions listed above this.
Yep not with those moon balls that defy gravity.Mac is certainly more likely to be a journeyman QB like Testeverde and Fitzpatrick for example...he is never going to be a long term solution in the pros IMO
