Fields threw for 179 yards on 13 for 21..with an INT and 4 sacks,,,and the Pats get blown out of their own building?...HUH?
I'm sure the rushing yards and numbers on 3rd down will tell the story.

One of the most disappointing games in recent memory. Trent Brown was bad, our defense was bad, our special teams was bad, Mac was bad, Myles Bryant was bad- you get the picture.

Just a really bad game.

Let's discuss!!!
Wow, Pathetic.BILL NEEDS TO MAKE IT RIGHT, IT WAS his DEFENSE, HE FAILED MISERABLY.
End,that ****y had zero, and AGAIN,you made him look good.
Go ****YOURSELF BILL.

He isn’t my boy. Right now The Pats do not have a starting QB. They need to fix Jones quickly because he is their only hope.
Its been noted but Zappe didn't actually start this game "Mac Pick" did. Zappe likes the Starter and not the Relief role.

This was a chance for Zappe to really show what he's made of, but he sorta collapsed.
Not that the D helped them at all, but I can't see the coaches feeling good about naming him the starter going forward.
But to put fear in your assumed starter - that whenever he makes a mistake he's getting yanked - is a horrible, potentially season-ending move.
BB needs to end this "controversy" immediately. Declare Mac the QB, rework the offense with what works best for him, and start digging out of this hole.

Oh **** no here we go again

Huh? The coaching situation is a mess and a clear reason we look like this. we have Patricia a defensive coordinator and Joe judge a failed coach leading our offense. If we still had McDaniels or a real offensive coordinator we would look alot better.

Brian daboll has that same giants team Judge had at 5-1.

I’m just very confused now.

Confused if this defense is truly as bad as it was tonight, and what defense we should expect week to week.

Confused who our QB1 should be.

Confused if Bill and this coaching staff really do know what they’re doing.

My boy is the guy who can be a good to great starting QB for this team. After tonight, no one is my boy.
They keep playing like this and your next QB could be CJ Stroud up high in the 2023 draft

Do you think Belichick can turn this around? It's just not looking good right now so that's why I'm sorta feeling like his time is almost up as the coach.

I want to be wrong however.
Yes of course I do, and it's not even going to be a monumental job.

We were exploited once again where we are weak and have been for a couple years: linebacker.

Myles Bryant and Juwaun Bentley cannot cover. Jamie Collins has no business being in there.

Our LT and RT need to be replaced.

The only thing that is beyond Belichick, perhaps, is the QB position. But we don't need an All-Pro at that position. We need competence.

LBs and tackles can be found inFA and the draft.

The QB position is the question.

There's some good young talent on this team: Rhamondre, Harris, Thornton, Meyers, Onwenu and Strange, Barmore, the 3 Joneses, Dugger, and some good vets too like Wise and Judon. We just need 2 backers and 2 tackles.

This is not a hugely difficult thing to improve

Oh the 2022 vintage and the 2021 vintage are identical?

What didn't you like about Patricia's offense tonight?

Just for the record. You are saying that Zappe sucked tonight after the initial good play because he didn’t start and if he started, he would have been awesome. Just want that on the record.

How can you say Zappe lacks accuracy on deeper passes after tonight? Seriously?

Did you see the pass he made to Parker? The other pass to Parker that appeared to be caught but was ruled OOB?

His issue was getting passes batted at the LOS on the short-to-intermediate stuff. He threw the ball darn well down the field and fit it into some tight windows.

I don't get it.
the deep pass to Parker was overthrown - Parker stretched out and made an incredible catch - its not like it landed in his breadbasket

The coaching really let this team down this week.

I don't hate the offensive approach, although if they had built a Jones game-plan and then threw Zappe into that, not ideal. They need to commit to one player and one approach.

The defense is what is a lot more concerning. Lack of energy, leadership, accountability. I want to see a proper DC.

The only thing weirder to me than writing off Mac after 20 games, is writing off Zappe after 3.5 games, 86% of which was extremely impressive.

Not writing him off. I think of him today as I thought of him this morning. Probably not an NFL starter, but could have a long successful career as a back up QB.

Overthrown? What? It was, maybe, slightly underthrown. Hard to find much to critique, though. I'll have to find an image of the catch because I can't believe anyone would actually believe that.

I'm starting to get pulled back to wanting Zappe to start next week.
