Anyone listen Shannon Sharpe on Undisputed? Daily he's screaming about how Brady "sucks" and essentially should just retire right now in the middle of the season. Obviously Sharpe's opinion is an extreme one but Brady is generally taking a lot of criticism for his play so far. However, if you look at his numbers, they're really not that bad. He's 5th in passing yards, 5th in completion percentage, 3rd in completions, 4th in first down completions, 1st in INT%, and 7th in passer rating. You must admit, Tom did not look good this past week both on and off the field.
Amen. For all the talk about the one stat he is doing poorly with, he is still tied for 12th.Overall Brady is still a top 10 quarterback in the league for this season. What's holding him down is lack of production in the red zone, which obviously is not a desirable area to be struggling. He has 8 TDs, which is low for him to this point, but quarterback play is down across the league this season and only 5 quarterbacks have more than 10 TDs.
Just my theory....TB was trending on Twitter and the reason being now military folks are upset at him lmao TMZ actually made a story about it.
Haven't you heard? You are forbidden to bring up examples of other people doing anything wrong. Only Tom Brady can be criticized.Shannon Sharpe has always had very strong opinions about Brady despite his championships hinging on exploiting the rules around the salary cap in what is still an egregious way.
I would hate to be rich and famous. Everything you say is under a microscope. What about Peyton Manning blaming his wife for HGH shipments to their home. He got totally let off the hook for that. Brady gets pummeled for being "politically incorrect." Who are these soft people insulting Brady for his military analogy anyway? It doesn't take a genius to realize Brady doesn't actually believe playing in the NFL is the same as a military deployment.

Lmao I forgot about Peyton throwing his wife under the bus for the HGH. Yeah what a family man.
Anyway
Offensive lineman Josh Wells is on his way back to the Buccaneers lineup.
The team announced on Wednesday that they have designated Wells for return from injured reserve. Wells started at left tackle in Week Two in place of the injured Donovan Smith, but he left the game with a calf injury and went on injured reserve a few days later.
What’s wrong with the Buccaneers? Their head coach thinks they need to toughen up.
“We were bad on third-and-short, even third-and-inches, third-and-one,” Bowles said Tuesday on the Buccaneers Radio Network, via JoeBucsFan.com. “We’ve got to find a way to get one yard. We got some tough guys up there. We’ve got to understand what we are and who we are going forward, as opposed to trying to make a whole bunch of different plays, and we’ve got to be better at that. . . . We’ve got to be tougher up front. We’ve got to be tougher up front on both side of the ball. Plain and simple.”
On all the third and shorts they run on the weakest side of their line. Why they don't run where Mason and Wirfs are is a mystery to meTodd Bowles wants the Buccaneers to get tougher - ProFootballTalk
So Bowles is seeing at least some of what we have all been pointing out. The question is whether or not he can do anything about it.
If his plan is "they have to be tougher up front" then I don't think anything will change. Toughness seems like it's there or it isn't by week 6. Unless you're changing personnel which is where Jensen's return could make a huge difference. They should just defer to the passing game when things aren't going well in certain situations, such as even third-and-short, the current operation (o-line to RBs) just isn't working and I don't think extra time in the weight room is going to make the difference right now.So Bowles is seeing at least some of what we have all been pointing out. So all that "bad look" takes from peeps are down the drain.
Tampa Bay coach Todd Bowles was asked on Wednesday whether he’d ask Arians for advice on how to fix a sputtering offense.
“Well, this is my team, not Bruce’s team, but we talk all the time,” Bowles said, via JoeBucsFan.com. “You don’t jumpstart [the offense] by asking a former coach what to do. We have our own things to deal with, and we understand that. We’ve been with Bruce long enough to know what he wants, but they’ve been with me long enough to know what I want. We’re working towards that and we’ll get through it.”
I think he has filled in at right guard and tackle. He wasn't very good. Can be play LG?
