Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Pats @ Browns

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

There's a world of difference between Mac and Zappe. Not even close.

People are forgetting that this is Mac's first year in a new offense, without McD, and with an entirely new terminology and verbiage. Of course there's going to be growing pains.
Pretty sure it's Zappe's first year in the offense too, and with less practice reps..

Puhleeze. Zappe is a better qb than Mac. Deal with it.
Mac played behind a horrible o-line most of last year and the start of this year, so its not a fair comparison

17 completions to 7 different receivers despite losing two his top three targets.

I'm slipping into "hot hand" territory. But Mac's so young still, I have a hard time benching him.
I thought this team put out there the player "best for the team." If you can't see that's Zappe, you are deluded,

Urge to revisit my aggravation of the GB game rising……. I mean, a FG in OT catapults NE in the upper echelon.

In what way? Please be specific.

I’ll give you Mac has more experience on a big stage. I’m not holding that against Zappe.

As opposed to Zappe's several years of experience in Patricia's system?
Easier when you're coming in with a blank slate.

>defender falls down
>85 open by 85 yards
>omg what vision!!!
The absolute state hahaha

This is essentially best case scenario. Jones knows what he needs to do when he comes back, because Zappe has made it where Belichick won't have a choice but to make a move if Jones struggles. Pressure is officially on the former Alabama QB if this one finishes out the way it seems like it might.

Logically thinking there is no way they can bench zappe now for next game . Offense is in roll, defense is in roll . Tight ends getting involved. Rookies making plays.

Play the hot hand

Zap has 250 yards passing. Could be a 300 yard game.

Browns secondary is putrid.

Beautiful play by Hunter Henry there. Wide open.
all he had to do is catch the ball with nobody within ten yards of him, and then walk into the end zone.

Around the league....

Jets (3-2) are WINNING
Dolphins (3-2) are LOSING
Colts (2-2-1) are LOSING
Jaguars (2-3) are WINNING
Bengals (2-3) are LOSING
Ravens (3-2) are WINNING

I can expand on this at a better time, but basically, we have been playing vanilla offense the past two games.
