this thread clearly didn't disappoint,

I am not losing my inheritance and not the one that has to sleep with a person old enough to be my grandparent, I don't care he's the owner of the team i follow, didn't care about his massage parlor retreat and it did not affect me wearing a sweatshirt/jersey, people are going to be way too emotionally invested in things that don't directly involve them, I just hope he finds the happiness he seeks

Jonathan are you still first in line to the throne?

We have a Ted Lasso thing here. It must have been Dana's decision to leave Bill and Linda off the guest list. How soon will Belichick get fired and cuddly teddy bear Matt become head coach?

They were "amusing" a few years ago, but never "funny". But as you can see, I have always been a big Myra fan.
We're all big fans of Myra Kraft, so there's no disrespect for her legacy.

We do have to focus on what this means for the future. Personally, I want see Dana's mock drafts for the past few years.

Absolutely! I'm retired now and could care less what other people think! I haven't worn pants in over a year!!! Unless someone dies, I'm never wearing a tie again either!

Kraft doesn't need your permission or approval to do anything!!

One more... big deal, it's a walkthrough. Couldn't he just tape it?
Not a big deal, but one more act of "big timing" his Tampa teammates. Publicly they'll say it's cool, he's the goat, yada yada. Privately they're noticing the guy who handles the ball on every play wasn't there for 11 days in the middle of training camp and now isn't there for a walk through. It's one thing if you're trying to save your marriage, another if you're going to New York to party with former teammates.

They also know he's set to leave at the end of the year leaving a huge cap hit, and has a history of negotiating his next deal well in advance with rumors of MIA being in play already being suggested.

Not exactly the same kind of energy they had two seasons ago when they were united to bring home a SB, now it's playing out like it's every man for himself.

I'm betting he was invited. think BBs concern over optics and perception by the team had a lot to do with it.
That, and, you know, actually using the time wisely and staying focused on preparing for the game rather than flying to NYC, partying, and flying back. It's not like the head coach / GM has loads of time on his hands during a game week.

She was last night after Kraft popped the blue pill and gave her a stiff 45 seconds of the Jewish Fury.

The crap will hit the fan big time if somehow Pittsburgh finds a way to win vs Tampa.... (think Indy over KC when that was the 'lock of the week")
Any given Sunday.......

I can’t speak to his motivation. I can only say that I’d not feel comfortable.
I believe you. But that is on you, it has nothing to do with BK.

True.

Question : do you want to marry someone who’d never marry you w/o the money ? How about your entourage ? Your friends & family want to sign up for that ?

Love is Love....$$$

That or he is over 80 and those sneakers are comfortable.
A pair of handmade (Goodyear welts, etc.) dress shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I've worn. Kraft's shoes would be leagues better. I'd take a well made pair of dress shoes over Nike Air Force One's 11 times out of 10.

I honestly have one pair of Church's that I can't think of a better word to describe other than "buttery" on my feet.

I was listening to 98.5 while doing yard work yesterday. Think it was Gasper and Murray when the show had a "Breaking Sports News!" and led with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.... before they even got to the "surprise wedding last night..." I thought, that sucks he's dead.

The flip side of your question is:

Do you want to marry someone who has no money and will never have any money? How about your entourage? Your friends & family want to sign up for that?

What an odd set of hypotheticals.

In the case of RKK, the man has tons of money, enough for several generations of his family. He'll never be poor. If that's part of his attraction to others, so be it. There's no way he could erase it from the equation, even if he tried.

I don't know what you are trying to say, but if you think money is not a consideration in most relationships and it's all based on love, IMO you are living in fantasy land. It seems they've been in a relationship for a while now, he should have a good idea of her character. If he's made an error in judgement, it's no big deal, he'll be covered by pre-nups. It's not like his judgement is perfect, lord knows it isn't, lol.

I had a discussion with my (then) mother-in-law and said if I hit rough times and ended up living under a highway bridge I'd expect her daughter to be there with me. She looked me in the eye and said "you don't know my daughter very well, she'd never do that!". I felt I was being b!tch-slapped by reality, but it was the truth, and facts are stubborn things. No more fantasy land for me.

So be it. Some people just want/need (what they think is) financial security, and are willing to make sacrifices to get it. Some spouses can provide that, and it's a part of the equation, whether it is acknowledged or not.

I'm an Ecco guy, myself...

That "one more" sort of messed up the tone. I meant, here's one more reaction, since nobody had posted between the last post and the one where I was saying "Big deal."

And the "big deal" one was a butchered "taping walkthroughs" joke.

So. Much. Fail. Mea culpa.
