What "DUD" performance by Jon Jones? He made an AWESOME stop early in the game..

The dud performance was for the Lions (hence the Lion emoji). Jon Jones was listed in the injury part of the tweet.

Playoff position not in the worst shape so far. Ravens and Bengals have to play one another later, one of them has to win. Assuming Chiefs beat the Raiders tomorrow, the only teams with a better record than NE currently are:

1. Bills 4-1
2. Chiefs 4-1 (assuming a win tomorrow)
3. Titans 3-2
4. Ravens 3-2 (assuming a win tonight)
5. Jets 3-2
6. Dolphins 3-2
7. Chargers 3-2
8. Colts 2-2-1

So still outside of a wild card spot, but not by a ton - in fact they're only 1 game behind the #3 seed. Several of the above teams play one another over the next few weeks as well, and the Pats play a few as well as some of their peers who are also 2-3 with them so they definitely have a pretty decent shot at getting back into a wild card spot if they keep playing well.

Evan is somewhat of a clown, I called it out earlier.

I don’t listen to or follow the guy closely but from what I’ve seen, he comes across as some combination of self believed X’s and O’s guru, fan boy, and a pretender “in the know” guy.

Mike Riess is a top notch professional beat guy and sets the bar in my opinion.

Little to no knowledge of this one due to coverage... but wasn't the INT off the target's hands? Have we litigated whether it should of been an interception?

Yeah and the INT was not Zappe’s fault it was because of Bad Luck Schleprock Agholor

Alright, it was a win - and I'm thrilled. But also some objective thought is needed.
1. This doesn't mean Zappe is better than Mac. He was clearly handcuffed, because the playcalls in the RZ were terrible. Because they won't let Zappe throw down there. So that's why all the surrenders for FG's. But we can't be as bad on 3rd down going against good teams.
2. Zappe did what he was supposed to - vs. the league WORST defense with 4 top DB's out. So temper expectations. If you think a gimpy Mac couldn't have put up those stats today, you're blind.
3. Defense looked good. That translates. It's as much Goff's continued ghosts of facing Pats than the talent or game plan. But hey, they executed and did it.
4. Meyers is the #1 WR, and has been for the last 3 years, just get used to it.
5. Rham is a beast and has taken over (we do need a backup RB quick though)
6. Great to see Zappe get the ball to Henry. Hopefully this cracks that barrier going forward.
