I said football player. I'll take Jackson over Rodgers and Brady in that argument. If I'm starting a franchise from scratch then I'm picking Allen or Mahomes as my quarterback. Probably Watson and Herbert after that. If I have everything on the line for one game, or one drive, or one play, then I'm taking Brady. Allen second in that category.
OK so LJ isn't in your top 10 as a passer but top 5 as a "football player". Hes Randall Cunningham in 1987-1991.
LJ does what he wants as a runner - not as a passer which is why he is successful.A good coach puts his team, his players, his quarterback, in the best possible position to be successful (and then gets the f*ck out of the way). That's what they're doing with Jackson in Baltimore. The read option and RPOs are best suited to Jackson's extraordinary skill set. Head coach & quarterback are grading out an A+ so far. Their secondary, which isn't very good, had an epic meltdown against the Dolphins... otherwise Jackson is 3-0 and easy early MVP favorite.
