It's easy, and only takes a few moments. For what it’s worth, he could’ve been beaten deep if Lamar looked his way on this play. I noticed this live at the game.I'd like to see his role steadily increase as the year goes on. Those stats are good, and he seems to bring a lot of energy to every play.
LOL the majority of the country is going to watch Hoyer...
Rats, we're getting Den/Vegas
You can watch the Ian coverage instead if you are interested in disastersRats, we're getting Den/Vegas
I'm ready, let Chef Hoyardee cook
Recent history shows he protects the ball decently, but does not handle pressure situations well (see KC two years ago) and likelihood (if no turnovers) that this is a close game is high means that his "anxiousness" may be a determining factor. More times than not it's not simply bad plays that lose football games, it's bad plays in critical situations and what separates starting QBs from backups.Hoyer actually looked decent in preseason as well. So if he doesn't do the mental mistakes and we do some dinks and dunks , we could be competitive.
I am hoping Hoyer will not make the mental mistakes that Mac is making in dozens. Our tight ends, Rham and lil Jordan might be the x factor when Hoyer takes charge .
Hoyer ready to have “fun”We got this. Hoyer ready to have fun in Lambeau. He should keep his mobile handy to get a selfie w/ Rodgers. He's pumped.
“At this point, you don’t know how many chances like this you get anymore,” Hoyer said. “So, obviously, it’s a part of the job. You’re always ready to play. So, for me, it’s an opportunity to go out there and have fun, and go out and execute really. Have fun. I really love my teammates, what they do, how hard they work. So an opportunity to go out there and play with those guys.”
"Anytime you get a chance to play at Lambeau, I think that’s a pretty cool experience there,” Hoyer said. “I heard Devin [McCourty] talking about it. It’s a historic place. A historic organization. . . . It’s a great opportunity. Anytime you get to go in there and play. They’re obviously a great team. They have gone deep in the playoffs for however many years. They have a great quarterback in Aaron [Rodgers]. Their defense, you look all around, they’re very solid. Whether it’s the D-line, the linebackers, the defensive backs. It’s a unique challenge. I think I heard today they’re like 13-2 in their last 15 home games. So it’s obviously a hostile environment to go into. But it’s always a great opportunity to see where you’re at too.”
Brian Hoyer: I don't think I'd still be here if I wasn't a good player
Quarter Brian Hoyer, at 36 years of age, is expected to get his 40th career start against the Packers on Sunday, replacing injured Patriots starter Mac Jones.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
LOL. Thanks for the apology.Easy there, tiger. Sorry for clarifying the intent of comparing a Belichick press conference to a scene in which Hitler loses his ****. It's all done now. You can stand down.
