Doesn’t matter whoever they get is screwed in this situation. Rookie Brady isn’t making anything happen with this set of coaches and talent. Bad teams and coaching ruin QB’s

Young, developing QB would probably benefit from legit offensive coaching. I think it's fair to question how high Mac's ceiling is, but I don't think they give him much of a shot with this offensive staff.

I think it's time we revisit having Mat Patricia as the o-line coach...

Part of me feels the Pats are trying to keep doing things their way with old/recycled/related coaches while the NFL moves on and leaves us standing. Without Brady what we did before doesn't work. Just plugging in a new QB isn't enough. Changing players isn't enough. We need to see where the league is going and get on board. Not explosive enough, not fast enough and sadly, now not smart enough.

Said it in another thread but I think it’s a positive if Mac Jones did not have to play anymore with Patricia as his OC.

Awful awful play calling in key situations. Mac really missed Meyers.

Lamar Jackson is who we thought he was. 200+ yards through the air, 100+ yards on the ground, 4 TD passes 1 rushing TD.

Our defense got torched for 37 points, and our offense predictably could not make the comeback against so many points.

I predicted we'd lose, I predicted we'd break the 20 point mark as an offense, I didn't think we were quite gonna give up so many points. That was a brutal loss.

On top of that another injury to Mac Jones. That's not great news.

1-2 and next week we have to go to Green Bay on the road? OOF.

I just don't think the Patricia/Judge combo is 'it'. I took a wait and see approach during the offseason, but im not liking what I'm seeing.

My fear now is that Mac's injury is long term. With that, Bill decides to roll with Patricia/Judge again because they only got 3 games of Mac.....

I don't know why they weren't attacking their pass defense more and why so many draw plays?

You have to wonder how much these coaches overachieved with the Pats when they all fall flat on their face when they leave.
