Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Pats beat the Steelers

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

And I heard Barmore played well, but don't see his name in stats columns . Is Barmore being as disruptive as what he was in camp or is he also having a subdued season?

Say whatever you want about PFF but they seemed to think he played well yesterday

Didn't Godchaux come back into the game after his injury though?
I saw him in there for at least a play or two. Should be interesting when the injury report comes out Wednesday.

Great scheme on this play:

With Bill being so involved on offense, I wondered if the defensive scheming would suffer, but I've actually been pretty impressed with it. I have to wonder if Bill is doing double-duty and burning the midnight oil, or if he's putting more in the hands of Jerod and/or Steve and this is the result.

The biggest play of the game was the fumble by Gunner Olszewski... Patriots took advantage of the short field to go up 17-6. Steelers dropped an easy pick too which would have changed the momentum of the game completely. Patriots offense had it's moments but still doesn't look anything like a smooth operation. They're getting nothing out of Parker or the TEs so far... both have to change for the better. Agholor had his best game in a Patriots uniform... great all round play on the TD reception. Ravens have a putrid secondary so Mac & Co. will have a good opportunity to get things going this weekend.

I will not pretend I saw any footage of Jonnu Smith on the Titans but he apparently did SOME things. What in the **** happened to him because he is truly worthless.
Different system, different atmosphere

Mack Wilson and peppers seems to be real finds. Did anyone notice uche yesterday? Kinda worried there about his lack of impact

Hard not to improve off the miami game and nice win but we are the same average team as last year. Will beat bad teams and have no shot to stay with elite teams like Buffalo.
I don't think we should limit our expectations.

Bengals came within a field goal of winning the Super Bowl.

And I see enough potential in our running game, defense and second year quarterback to be encouraged.

Not surprised to see the Fellowship of the Miserable still out in force. Was that a perfect game? No, of course not. Was it very encouraging after Week 1? You bet!

My favourite play was Mack Wilson's flying tip. It would have been a great play even without the int that followed. Tedy would have been proud of it.

What matters is the W. Is there concerns? Yes, but getting a win at Pittsburgh is not easy
