Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Pats @ Steelers

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Lfg guys!! Keep the turnovers even in half 2 and I think we got this

I don't think the throw was that bad, feels like one person said "bad throw" and then 100 people parroted it
The color guy said it was an interception, except Aggy took it away from the defender. It was a 50/50 ball that he went up and got. Throw was where it needed to be

Jonnu was in the backfield for 1 play, threw a block.

Henry and Junno doing absolutely nothing

Meyers last week and now Agholor coming down with 50:50 long balls we got Parker to catch.

Considering the time on the clock and how far we had to go it was worth the risk. It paid off

So far this reminds me of September 2014. The only difference is we're getting vastly superior QB play now. Much like 2014, it's a slow burn in September, but the conclusion to the season will be absolute fire.

Gotta love an announcer's crap take influencing opinions. "should have been a pick" Maybe if the defender had 4 arms, or arms coming out of his neck.

How on earth could a good wide receiver be a negative for an offense? Meyers presence on the team doesn’t preclude them from having any other receiver on the field. Meyers is averaging 10 yards per target today and somehow eliciting negative fan responses. Unbelievable
Bourne's one of two decent, reliable receivers, along with Meyers. Between the two of them, Meyers won the first string "reliable guy from last year" spot. Agholor and Parker are working into their "we need a faster offense" spots you were probably complaining that we needed down at the local bar last year. We neeed weeapons. We need explosiveness. Thats what Parker and Agholor are supposed to be and have the resumes to suppoort hope for.

SOMETHING did happen in the preseason limiting the amount we're using Bourne. Officially, it's now "just working out that way." We'll see if we get a lot of Bourne late in the game. Possible, especially if we build a lead.

And everyone wanted to trade Agholar.
Wait til Thornton is ready we will have speed for days with him and Agholar.
Only thing mac's throws need to keep up with Thornton's speed. All of mac's throws look like contested balls which means we need a Gronk/metcalf like player to fight it out .

Mac throws even intermediate throws look soft. The dropped pass by Meyers on the last possession was a poor throw again.

Shows you most people don't actually know what they're looking at... A lot of folks just believe what the commentator tells them, but 70% (at least) of the commentators are idiots.

Captain would go the distance and call him Miss-ell False-bisky.
I mean it's pretty good but cana we also work in Tru*****sky to keep it juvenile?

IMO... Bourne is fourth on the depth chart, but problem is that Parker is ahead of him but not doing anything. He keeps getting outmuscled when he should be the guy doing the outmuscling. On paper I can understand Parker being ahead of Bourne, but my eyes tell me Bourne makes plays and Parker has not done that yet.
