Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Pats @ Dolphins

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

So I always tell myself when it snows out in Massachusetts I'm sick of this and I'm moving to Florida. Then I see the temperatures there and I'm like nah I'll just deal with the snow.
October 15 through about May 15 is wonderful, though.

It rarely gets above 92 in the summer in south Florida, but rarely fails to get to at least 88.

I could deal with having a cabin in Maine for June, July, Aug, and Sept!

Everyone assumes the Miami D will be the same with this new coach and I think that's a mistake. The pressure is on them and their offense and I don't buy it. Don't care if Tua is 3-0 against NE, he will feel the heat.
Yeah Flores is gone, he was probably the biggest reason Miami gave NE such trouble recently. Now it's Mike McDaniel...

I don’t get the Collinsworth hate either. He may be a little overly effusive of certain players on occasion
Deatrich Wise Jr..."...Patriots best defensive lineman..." or something to that effect - that was when Collinsworth jumped the shark for me.

I thought it was funny how much people in the media made this into a "desperation move". Three or four years ago, people would be touting it as a genius move that Belichick was ahead of the curve to get his players ready for the heat and humidity. Now it is a desperation move.

Since the Pats are 2-7 over the last nine games in Miami (most of those games were with Brady), why not try to change things up.

In the absence of definite proof to the contrary, changing a career-long strategy because of a terrible record is an indication of desperation, regardless of the parties involved.

I don’t get the Collinsworth hate either. He may be a little overly effusive of certain players on occasion (Brady), but I usually find him to be informative and entertaining. Different strokes for different folks I guess…
I don't get announcers hate in general. Not much they can really do lol And if it bothers you so much just mute them and have music playing

What is your point about most of them being with Brady?

My point is that even with the Brady, the Patriots have struggled in recent years in Miami. This isn't a case of having a bad (Newton) or rookie QB causing this problem.

Don't be overly sensitive every time someone brings up Brady and it isn't overly glowing about him.

Since it's the first game, I thought I would start this thread a little early today!!!!

It's Christmas for all us football fans!! Looking forward to seeing what our team looks like. Specifically, our O-line. Hoping to see some of our young/new players making plays. Last year our defense had problems getting off the field when we had to. I want to see if that has changed and if we can get a stop when we have to!!

Want to see Jonnu more involved and want to see us pound the Phins!!!!

Of course hoping for no injuries!!!!

Go Pats!!!!!

Let's discuss.

@ashley. Don't forget to warm up properly before kickoff.
We don't want you pulling a muscle when kicking out some reprobate during the game from this thread.

One of them was the Miami miracle. That was ridiculous and shouldn't even really count as a Patriots loss. Even Brady agrees. Lol

lol, I hear you...I got up extra early this morning, went for a two mile run...then did extra stretching, some sit ups and push ups, took a shower and did a cool down. Now, I'm here relaxing with my family ready for the game!!!!!!!!!!

Or it is just changing things up to try something new to see if it works. Desperation means that Belichick has all but conceded this game to be a loss and that coming to Florida early is a Hail Mary hope that the Pats might get lucky and sneak out a win. There is clearly no evidence of that. This wasn't a desperation move.

That is one failing of BB I will absolutely agree with the critics about. He'll tend to trot out the fundamentally solid over the less so, but more skilled player especially early in a season. I understand the 'why' of it - it's the most likely won't get "burned" approach but a death of a thousand cuts is still on a slab in the morgue alongside the 4th degree burn victim.

At this point...
Go Tavai go !!!
