My take:

Should be 16 games at the very least, plus all playoffs of course. Away all white (No, no shoulder stripes)

Not so much a 'small minority' as those who didn't know or care about the Patriots prior (or who just hated them) that like the abomination perpetrated in 1993. It is by far the worst in the NFL.

They're a nod to nostalgia from the sixties. We were very good then, close but not at the top. It's something to be proud of. Once or twice a year, as a throwback, OK.

But the cool modern jersey is '76-'83.

Never was a fan of the all-whites... They looked like Long Johns to me.

Blue (or red if necessary) pants with those tops would've been tight.
