It would've cushioned the blow.

Little Billy's only saving grace right now is that Travis Jones will also miss the first few games of the season.
Big Boney T out too.

Tell me that you are talking out of your a*s again to suit your negative agenda without telling me that you are talking out of your a*s again your negative agenda.

Wrong again, Nurse Stone.

I have a feeling it's gonna be painful to watch the likes of George Pickens, Alec Pierce, Skyy Moore, etc. lighting up the league while Thornton sits hurt doing absolutely nothing to help this team. But this injury sets up that scenario with an even more glaring light. Let's just see what happens.

Pickens Watch:

Pierce Watch:

Skyy Watch:

Why can't we get guys like that? Oh cos BB won't draft em. Let's hope Thornton is worth the wait cos early days but these other guys look good!

Oh, only skinny people get injured, that probably explains why I am so healthy.
While any player can break a collarbone, and I certainly can't say that his size, or lack thereof, caused it, we rightly were concerned, IMO, about his ability to compete in the NFL being as thin as he is. And guess what, here we are.

Time will tell.

If only there were forums where one could follow players on other teams …

Who is “we”? Speak for yourself.

The guy had negligible injury history in college. Fanning the flames for the people calling him injury prone … after one fluky injury that involved him being slammed to the ground and landed on … is lame.

Don't forget Romeo Doubs who was Drafted by the Pack he's looking very good with Rodgers. We scouted him quite a bit but didn't Draft him.

So I take it T Thronton is on the official roster?

This same exact Thornton take had been posted by several other members of the Patsfans Fellowship of the Miserable over the past months, including that dotard @Easywolf32 (in the Lil’ Jordan Humphrey thread lol). Time for your crew to work on some new material.

Relax dude, I'm just giving my opinion. I freely admit I could be wrong.

Contrary to what the actual Drs say, but you do you Dr Oz.

Considering our draft history and drafted wide receivers getting injured, the doubt and hesitation is understandable.

Either patriots wr drafting is jinxed or bill can't draft wr for nuts.

Thornton can either break the jinx or extend it further . I hope he comes back by the 5th game to prove naysayers wrong.

When will we be moving players to IR?

What I was watching here? Our PS guys can make more impressive video

Braaaa. Posting here since 2006?
OK. I get it, we can't PUP him. It's unfortunate. We're gonna have to carry a guy on the roster who can't help for another 6 weeks.

Meanwhile we have no backup TEs cos we cut both Keene and Asiasi, admitting BB's failure to draft any worthwhile TE's since Gronkowski 12 years ago.

You mean the same way we had to watch the likes of AJ Brown, Deebo Samuel, DK Metcalf, Terry Mclaurin, etc. light up the league while N'Keal Harry stunk up the joint? It's called the NFL. In the end what you do on the field speaks louder than words. You can't help the team from the exercise bike as the saying goes.
