2022 Red Sox

Always like JBJ his defensive prowess was way above the norm. His hitting was and is an issue, thought this year new contacts were going to solve the issue, but guess not. He seemed like a good guy who was an asset to this team, not sure the RS are better with him gone. With that being said used to be a huge BB fan, but have lost a lot of my passion for that sport.

This ownership can do that to a guy.

As much as I blame ownership for many of these flubs, MLB has not done much to keep the game interesting.. even with the pitch clock the games are just too long, somedays it is like watching grass grow.

If MLB were really interested in speeding up the game etc, then 25-man rosters should be limited to not more than 12 pitchers on them… Heck I remember when Wilbur Wood’s White Sox teams had an EIGHT-man staff!

Didn't he pitch both games of a double-header on occasion?

It would not surprise me if he did… Talk about one who Got Away… He & Earl Wilson both should’ve been on the ‘67 staff, with Wood in the bullpen & Wilson in the rotation… Maybe then they could’ve clinched one game earlier, thereby saving Lonborg for Game 1 vs the Cardinals… He also would’ve pitched Game 7 on closer to normal rest, though Bob Gibson would’ve been tough to beat that series regardless…

Too bad; he’s about the only thing this wretched organization has going for it…

The Eck: another one who Got Away… One of the very Worst trades in Dead Sux history… Thanks for nuthin’, Lou What would we do with Willie McGee Gorman…

Just to add to this great news today - JBJ signed with Blue Jays. As I said above about wanting Renfroe back.

AL East update:
The $207 mill last place Sux are only 5 games down in the loss column behind the $47 mill 4th place Oriole

Let the Fenway Faithful lemmings sing their sorrows away 1660138397172.png

Crank up it up John Henry, the rubes will barely notice the schitt show on the field

he was my favorite player. Couldn't hit worth a ****, but i liked him. At the very least, he will provide late inning defense for the Jays

Anyone who pays face value to visit “Amerika’s most woke ballpark”, where W-L < P-C, and doesn’t boo vociferously at the proper moments is a ****ing sucker, part of the Problem, and thoroughly unworthy of respect.

I hope I live to see the day of John Henry’s funeral.

Blue Jays are the big favorites in the AL East. Sox projected to be in the wild card hunt.

How about a surprise 2013 style run for the Sox. Let’s go!
Or not.
