It’s hot here in South Florida but I can’t complain
You going to MIA game? Pretty decent seats in $200s.

Maybe. Last game I went to was the Antonio Brown game. You going ?

NE is a fake 6th rated scoring offense.

38% of their 462 points came vs 3 teams NY Jets, Cleveland and Jacksonville. Through these 4 one sided games 175 points were scored. This is akin to Kramer the black belt beating up 12 year olds at the dojo to win the championship crown
It’s not fake, they scored those points. Ppg is all points divided by all games. It’s called math.

He simply isn’t worthy of acknowledgement.

Team Bill has shrunk to like 3 people now. All the forum’s idiots condensed into a sad little echo chamber.
There is no team bill, it’s team patriots.

I went to that one also. Yea, more than likely.

No doubt Team Bill is the most fair weather of all fan types.
This “fan” went to every home game during their 1-15 season (with my dad…we had season tickets). Fair weather would have been a nice departure from the metal benches in December. Signed Team Bill.

These stats for some reason just don't register with some posters.
The Pats struggled playing from behind.

That points directly at the offense. 4 games post bye were all losses and in those 4 games NE never enjoyed the lead. Ive pointed out prior that the NE offense were not good at sustaining drives in big games. Too many 3 and outs placing the NE defense right back out on the field.

The 2022 NE offense really needs to improve if the Pats plan to run with the big dogs beginning with Buffalo.

We have reached the portion of our program where we must, once again, illustrate to Triumph how he does not understand football.

Buffalo scored 166 in their 4 highest scoring games
Buffalo also scored 6 against Jacksonville
Tampa scored 172 in their 4 highest
Cincy 157
Kc 167
Dallas 184

High scoring teams have high scoring games. It’s the same for all of them.

It's funny how stupid people are. Over 20 years of winning and two seasons into the transition and they are screaming for blood. It's almost like they've never built anything of value in their lives. So they have no idea what it takes

They “register” because that is the way it is with every high scoring offense, the Patriots are not different.
The 2014 Patriots scored 179 in 4 games and 41 in another.
Did that “register” with some posters? Was that a negative?

This is a joke, right? You can’t be this dumb, can you?

1. You are seriously deluding yourself, if you actually that there are only a handful of passionate BB backers left here. And unlike the rabid BB haters (ie. the unhappy-with-life-in-general crew), who only post negativity and are silent when the Pats make a shrewd move in FA or the draft or if things are going well on the field, members of Team Bill will still criticize decisions that he makes, but we will wait until the criticism is actually justified before doing to….for instance, waiting to see a draftee or free-agent pickup actually play a few games vs. blasting a pick as “terrible”, when the fellowship of the miserable have never seen the kid play a single down.

2. So in your mind, the fans who continue to fully support BB and the team in general, root only for team success rather than the success of their negative opinions/posts on Patsfans.com, and are willing to be patient and remain positive during the post-Tommy rebuild/reboot, because they believe that Belichick has a vision/plan to return them to Super Bowl contention, are the true fair-weather fans?

Waddle yourself over to the Tom Brady forum if you want to see some fake Patriots fans in action and feel free to stay there as long as you want. You won’t be missed here.

You really do not think these things through prior to blurting them out.

Buffalos highest scores were 47 vs NE and 45 vs KC. Both teams made the post season. 43 vs Wash and 40 vs Houston. 50% of these opponents were post season teams.

KCs highest scores were 48 vs LV, 42 vs Pitt, 42 vs Buffalo and 42 vs Phil. All 4 teams qualified for the post season. 100% of these teams advanced to the post season.

What I would recommend for you is to study Football Outsiders. Pay attention. They explain in infinite detail why every win is not graded the same.

Keep moving the goal posts, that’s what people who do not understand math do when discussing statistics.
So now it is no longer that the point totals are “fake” because of outliers, which I 100% proved wrong, but now they are fake based upon who you scored them against?
So Buffalos highest scoring games were against the Jete, wash, Houston and the chiefs
KCs were NOT the teams you listed (because you again are deceptively and dishonestly counting games that are not included in the ranking)
Were the Raiders twice (26th in points allowed ie. 7th worst) Philly and Pitt.
By the way points scored rankings are regular season rankings so you are lying by including post season games, but of course you are.
So Buffalo losing to Jacksonville by scoring 6 points, NE by scoring 10, Indy 15 and Pitt 16 is irrelevant?

You are clearly over your head, evidenced by I stress of being able to understand math and statistics, you lie, deflect and want to use someone else’s work that you don’t understand.

At the end of the day, I don’t give a sh*t were they “rank”, but rather the type of players they have, how they could match up against contending teams and what happens vs these contending teams.

The 2021 Pats were a front running team where they needed to control the game via run and have the defense keep them in the game. When the defense couldn’t hold, the offense was dead to rights majority of the time, which is why they were 3-7 vs teams above .500. I don’t care if they ranked 1st in PPG, they were not a good enough offense to respond after getting punched in the mouth.

This is why Bill traded for Parker and traded up in the 2nd round for Thornton. It’s not rocket science putting these two together that the passing game has to get better to contend.

And the 2014 Pats aren’t a good example as they were clearly the best team in the AFC, had a winning record vs teams above .500 and eventually won the Super Bowl.

What they accomplish on the field as a yardstick eliminates bias in over or under rating players used to judge a team by what you think the players are.
You say it yourself if they were the best offense that isn’t good enough, you think your opinion means more than results.

Again this discussion was about the free agent class. There is no doubt that where the offense was before fa and what it produced on the field represents a huge success. Your argument seems to be it was only acceptable if they won a SB year 1. That’s obtuse.
In those 7 losses they allowed 192 points. That is 27.5 per game, not exactly an offense failing. 3 of the losses were a rookie Qbs first 4 NFL games, the last 3 were with a defense that had fallen apart due to age and injury, and they allowed 30 ppg.

Then it devolved into a math lesson for one of our special posters

But are you honestly telling me that with a rookie Qb you think the offense in 2021 was a disappointment, and further that with what a
was here before free agency, that what it did wasnt far beyond expectations?
