2022 Schedule Coming On May 12 2022 - 8 home and 9 away

Pats are not going to be a well-rested team by the end of the season, while Barfolo is...

Told ya. Didn't believe me. These are the things that really impact a team during the season.

My thoughts on the schedule. Take care of business at the beginning and middle portion of the schedule because the last 1/4 of the season is gonna be tough.

@ Arizona
@ Las Vegas
Cinci (on a short week after flying back from Vegas)
Miami
@ Buffalo

Some tough games there with 3 on the road. I hope they build a bit of comfort room in the playoff chase heading into these games.

GB is not a must win but we have a shot against them without Davante adams. Bill always seems to have a good game plan against Rodgers.

I don't know if two complete games constitutes enough for "always" ... Looking at the two complete games, Rodgers has done well. Adams being gone is a major factor though.

Aaron is about to experience what it was like for Tom Brady in 2006, 2013 and 2019.

GB's offense is going to be rough this year.

Thoughts on the rest of the schedule:

Glad to get @Miami over with.
I miss the Pats Steelers rivalry.
I dread the Ravens.
Bears at Pats on MNF? Why?
No complaints getting to watch the Pats on turkey day
Love the primetime games against the Bills and Raiders
Great getting Kylie Murray late in the season when he breaks down.
The schedule makers are predicting the Pats will be pushing for a playoff birth/division title with the late season games against playoff teams (Raiders, Bengals, Bills last game).

They do not have back to back to back road games but even if they did historically road teams perform slightly better in the 3rd consecutive road game than the second.
6-7 win lol. Wanna give me the over at 6.5?
Give me a couple months and the Casino will be open for preseason prop bets!

Does not matter. Patriots tend not to win the game after a bye.
Under belichick patriots are 15-7 after regular season bye.

Virtually all of that is the opponent having played on Thursday the prior week, which is very hard to sell as an advantage.

PATRIOTS (8.5) 2022 SCHEDULE

Wk 1:
at Miami, 8.5
Wk 2: at Pittsburgh, 7.5
Wk 3: vs. Baltimore, 9.5
Wk 4: at Green Bay, 10.5
Wk 5: vs. Detroit, 6.5
Wk 6: at Cleveland, 10
Wk 7: vs. Chicago, 6.5
Wk 8: at NY Jets, 5.5
Wk 9: vs. Indianapolis, 9.5
Wk 10: Bye week
Wk 11: vs. NY Jets, 5.5
Wk 12: at Minnesota, 8.5
Wk 13: vs. Buffalo, 11.5
Wk 14: at Arizona, 9.5
Wk 15: at Las Vegas, 8.5
Wk 16: vs. Cincinnati, 9.5
Wk 17: vs. Miami, 8.5
Wk 18: at Buffalo, 11.5

Easiest run are Weeks 5 thru 8. Gets difficult after the Bye.
I see 7 easy/probable wins and 8 probable losses. That leaves 2 games that could go either way. The Vegas 8.5 total projected wins seems about right.

I tried a quick look at the schedule and came up with 10 - 7 , however maybe best to wait and see who performs at camp and what the final 53 will be before firming up on wins/losses.

Some good, some bad. Opening in Miami is a bit tiresome to me, but there doesn't seem to be a GOOD time for them to play in Miami so when it happens is kind of irrelevant.

Playing the Browns early is good because it increases the chances we miss Watson.

Playing the Cards in the first six weeks would have been better to miss Hopkins, but Murray always has better first halves than second halves of seasons. Chances are he's got some dings by the time week 14 rolls around.

Steelers early is good because they're going to be in the beginnings of their transitions post-Ben.

I don't like when they play on Thanksgiving just for personal reasons, but at least their Thursday game is the next week so they'll only have one short week for the season.

Nothing else really stands out to me one way or the other, as far as dates and times go.
Good point on the cardinals

Just checked my Caesars rewards ap, comp rooms for Dec 17-23 are available! The tickets right now are ridiculous (nothing under $300), but I think I'll book a trip even if I don't score tickets, I'm still in Vegas Baby!

I am confused. Why are there (2) east coast MNF games week 2??!!! Shouldn't they split these early and late? East and West coast? Can someone explain?

Come on. Poor Roger doesn't even make $65m per year - you expect that level of schedule QC at that salary?

The NFL decided that the week 1 MNF double-header this year would be week 2, and that the games would partially overlap (2 TV's in 1 room FTW). While there was never an official explanation given, I have to think they are doing it as an experiment to see if it is something we may see more regularly in the future.... maybe, say, 3 or 4 times a season....

I think a lot of these games could go either way.

Ravens were a sub .500 team last year but I think they lost a bunch of games by less than a score. The Pats also somehow beat them in 2020 with Cam. So were the Vikings but 8 of their 9 losses last year were by a score or less. Beating them there on Thanksgiving might be a tough task. PIT has questions at QB. I can actually see us sweeping the Dolphins I think they are being overrated by a lot of people right now. Losing Flores is a very big deal. Bengals and Colts are very tough opponents but they are in Gillette. Unfortunately I think the Jets get one game on us this year. They are due.

@ BUF might even be a freebie for us if they're resting players if they already clinched. Could be very helpful in a playoff race. Same as when they got a free one on us at the end of 2014 and broke a long losing streak in NE. On the flip side of that the Bills might not want to see the Patriots in the playoffs being a division rival.
