If Brady went on IR, would you want the pats to go after Bledsoe?

The poll on the 5th quarter, showed that only 8% of the fans think we could win without Brady this year.

I can't think of a Better Guy to Bring in then Bledsoe.

Maybe his ego would be too Big.

Or Maybe BB would be to Big.

But I'm sure Kraft wouldn't mind, and as much as Bledsoe drove me crazy with all those turnovers, with this O-Line giving the Qb's all day to pass, I Think he would Light it Up!!!

I just know I don't sleep well at night with Cassel as our #2.

Also this O-Line is perfect for Bledsoe; He'd get all the time he needs to find the open guy -- his glaring weakness was getting sacked when pressured instead of throwing it away; not as big an issue.

In fact, I would say ask Bledsoe if he'd like to backup right now. Even if he says no, ask him if he'd be willing to get into game shape incase the unspeakable happens, and if it doesn't happen, get him on the roster so he's playoff eligible.

I've said it before, we don't need a young, can't-start backup. We need a veteran who can come off the bench and score some points backup when spot starting. Although at this point, its probably too late to bring any veteran on board & expect them to learn the system.

Drew brought this franchise up from the depths. But the guy just became shell-shocked over time. Watching him those last years in Dallas was painful, much like McNair now - proud warriors that have just taken too many hits. We have limited tape on Cassel, but he looked good in Miami in '05 when he played most of the game, and has looked good out there in limited action this year, save the one bad pick against Miami.

Bledsoe < Pennington. Bledsoe's "glaring weakness" was tunnelvision which resulted in poorly judged throws. I still try to forget that bewildered look on his face after he threw a pick at many a critical juncture. It was like he looke down field, seeing only his intended receiver, overlooking the fact that he was in double or even triple coverage. When he was intercepted, his face told a story - "where did that DB come from?"
