So when TC ends this summer all I will care about is whether the 2022 Pars are improved over the 2021 version. Who was drafted where won’t matter.

BCG does great work but even he misses at times. Just look back at some of the players he has given high grades to - Geno Smith (8.08), Marcus mariota (9.04), Sterling Shephard (8.44), Mahomes (only an 8.03), Mitch Trubisky (8.02), Carlos Henderson (8.66), Sam Darnold (9.02), Josh Rosen (8.98), Baker mayfield (8.56), and Tua Tagovolia (8.55). He's human.

Based only on "expert" opinions, which many other teams disagree with, which is why these players fell to the Ravens.
Their draft could have been done by a handful of drunk guys at a downtown bar. We'll know in 3-4 years.

Regarding the QB situation:

• If Stidham had shown "anything" IMHO you'd see Hoyer on the coaching staff and not the roster. I would not like to see the Pats go into the season counting on Hoyer as the #2.

• Right now, I guess I'd have to hope for "something" from Stidham. Stidham's issue in the past IMHO wasn't opportunity, it was a lack of leadership skills, sloppiness with the football, and (to drag out an oldie-but-not-goodie) the "deer in the headlights" issue.

• Zappe will be #3 I'd have to think. I never saw him play but looking at his highlights posted above I do see that he gets the ball out quickly, so that's something to start with. It's what I noticed first about Jimmy G. It sure is not the case with Stidham.

• I'm definitely looking forward to the preseason to see it live.
