From what I can see from looking at scouting reports is that Thornton is rated so low because of his frame and a lot of scouts and analysts is that he will be eaten up in press coverage. The Pats with their rub routes can neutralize that issue quite a bit.
Best post of the day. Get this guy involved any way you can.

After 55 picks, I have to ask — what’s wrong with Travis Jones? I had NT as one of the team’s biggest needs, but not only does BB disagree, but no one else has thought him good enough to take yet. I thought he tore up the Senior Bowl despite playing for UConn, so I’m wondering what the issues are? Undisclosed injury?
He's a DT

I wrote a while back that teams simply do not value them. People said I was wrong, but I was looking at several drafts prior to this, and it was the case.

STFU You Idiot, I thought you were leaving after last night you Cu.t!
All you do is WHINE, SHUT THE **** UP AND ENJOY THE DRAFT INSTEAD OF BEING A TOTAL DOUCHE.
Lolololol you may need to see a psychiatrist…god forbid I complain about our draft picks Lolol get a grip son

Or he can hit the weight room a bit along with Mac...

If they were, why did they trade the pick to the Pats? That makes zero sense, stop trying to defend the indefesible

Perhaps either of the other 2 teams that the Pats jumped was interested?

Thanks. My question is — what is it that the teams know that the prognosticators didn’t. Our own BCG had him as first round worthy for the Patriots, for example. Clearly the league agrees with your response, I’m curious what it is they know that we don’t.
I don’t think players are drafted in order of best, next best etc. There is usually substantial evaluation difference between teams of say players 20-70.
To be drafted you have to fit need, scheme and evaluation. Getting drafted at 62 doesn’t mean you are a worse player than the guy drafted at 28 necessarily. This is especially true with a position like NT that many teams don’t value highly.

Bucs trade up for a tackle...

Saw a report that the tackles at the combine were stiff and looked worse than they had in many years, with the exception of the first rounders.

That was my athletic comparison for him Moss and Robbie Anderson he’s a Clydesdale.
Now if they draft Jalent Tolbert or John Metchie WR could be fixedz
Metchies off the board brother. Houston.

Didn’t you find a new team yet? You aren’t very good at quitting.
