NKeal Harry pick is a way better decision than this because Bill targeted the right position at the time just misfired on the player. This is one is just total WTF
Left Guard is the most pressing roster need on the team but it doesn't justify this type of reach.

McVay is the coach of the reigning champs, was in 2 of the last 4 Super Bowls, is one of the top tier coaches in this league AND has verbally kissed Bill Belichick’s ass on numerous occasions in the media. He actually respects Bill a lot. He’s just legitimately stunned by this pick.

Let’s be real, this was the only pick that all the networks had nothing on standby for to talk about because it was such a reach.
Mcvay will regret his reaction…but he’s probably wasted and means it

OMG I just found this tweet... it was the DAMN INTERVIEW factor again!! :poop:

OMG BB how did you not learn your lesson from N'Keal, that interviews don't mean squat!?

Gronk fell asleep in his interview and he's gonna end up in the HOF when he hangs em up. Meanwhile N'Keal will be flipping burgers by the time his rookie contract ends.

Yes he looks good in that video but let’s remember that the vast majority of players he went against are going to be lawyers and accountants and bankers, etc.

I felt going in the Draft BB couldn't daft a player we didn't know ... What do I know?? Hmmmmmm Strange.

BB is likely gone if these picks don't impress.

Kraft is expecting great strides this season and he has specifically called out the Pats draft. So, gone are the days of your 1st round pick being a bust. Factor in that Brady and Tampa will be in the 2022 Super Bowl with an NFC that is riddled with weak teams.

Kraft will move to take away some if not all the grocery shopping.

Its called shut the **** up and do not embarrass your senior colleagues
I don't remember BB having any compunction about saying he wouldn't have done what Dmitroff did in trading up for Julio Jones in the 2011 draft.

This made up, so called coach's code sounds like some weird backwards way of trying to defend yet another terrible pick by BB.

If BB screws up, just OWN IT, instead of trying to blame it on someone else who had nothing to do with this draft decision.

Thanks. After reading that I can see why BB liked him enough to grab him instead of taking the chance he’d get away. His stock was strong, and rising. I’m not convinced he’d still be on the board at 54. But what really matters is whether Bill thought he’d still be there.
Like the player, just hate the value with the other names on the board. Hill, Karlaftis, Jones…

@Ian yeah, this one right here
Been a loyal supporter here for at least 15 years…but moderator wants to close out my account because I am pissed off about a draft pick…says all you need to know about todays society. Get a grip son

The guy who started it was the guy who posts nothing but negative stuff about the patriots and said he was going to quit being a fan.
So quit. You already have, no one will miss you
Whatever you say Andy.

Clearly they don’t think it’s a reach. They felt he was the best player on the board. They need to be right, but their history with evaluating OL indicates there is a good chance they are.

There's about 50 articles like this for various players. This is also the first time I've ever heard of Hero Sports. If a guy like McVay who is perhaps 'in the know' more than any of us, and jokes about thinking Strange could be around at 104, I'm sure 50 spots ahead at 54 is quite reasonable to expect.
Last I checked, Nagy was most definitely in the know.

Apparently if you don’t agree with everything lord bellichick and the patriots do, you are not worthy to be here on pats fans.com. If you disagree with anything, the moderator will try to shut you down and close your accounts. Kind of pathetic actually.

We must all bow down and not complain.

He drafted Harry when they really needed a wideout, (still do) and he's taken alot of heat for that.

This kid has to be a pro bowler for it to be considered a success. It's just such a reach for a team that has many defensive holes and isn't going to resolve any of their stressing problems that I don't see how he doesn't take a lot of heat for this come next year when offense is running the league and we're out here underperforming.

Didn’t you leave yet?

or are you not a man of your word?
I’m sorry . I am
A human with emotions. God forbid I get angry and emotional and complain about something I care dearly for . Just shut me down. Sounds like twitter

Yes, but Bengals almost won a Super Bowl without one.
What is your point? Are you saying the bengals proved that OLs aren’t important by losing because of theirs? Or the chiefs the year before?

Sweet, they’re the worst team in the division now. Jets surpassed them today.
