O.K. Cousins,
After this post I will have my wife start my car via Fabrizio!

Jonnu Smith was a super star on the Titans. He fit. He does not fit here. Not utilized correctly? I am sure that Vrabel missed this kid last season.
On the same token, A.J. Brown is having a hissy fit. He's making only (only? I guess) $3.9mm.

Jonnu Smith signed a 4 year, $50,000,000 contract with the New England Patriots, including a $15,000,000 signing bonus, $31,250,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $12,500,000.

Perhaps a trade and slot in Brown at Smith's present salary year one with incentives. Then jump him up for three more years? I know we are not paying any WR $25mm though.

Just a thought. Your thoughts?

Smith's best season in Tennessee was under 500 yards. He was not a superstar.

Titans reaction being offered this trade....

DW Toys that's your best one yet. All we had to do was Draft him but we thought Harry and Slow-Quan was better.

Call 911, you are hallucinating. Brown wouldn't come without a new contract $$$$$$$$$

I’m telling you BB saw the greediness of these malcontents right away and said I’m not going to draft these guys who will threaten to hold out for top tier money.
I am going to draft a guy who will never get to that status of being able to demand more money and forced to stay at his minimum salary I will work him like a dog in the gym so he can at least be a able blocker and since nobody will bother covering him on routes he could surprise for a play or two.
If he demands a trade I will simply laugh at his face and hold on to him til his contract runs out.
Then after he bounces around the league for a few seasons I will give him a call when I need a camp body due to injury.

BB playing chess not checkers.

Jonnu Smith was a super star on the Titans.
His best season in Tennessee (2020) he ranked 19th among TEs in receiving yards (448). He was never that good, never mind a superstar. The Patriots made a big mistake here and they're certainly not getting out of it by trading him for a legitimate #1 WR.

I can't tell if you all are serious on adding Harry to any deal or not. Dude has no value. None.

Fabrizio?

Never said he would be happy, but structure something from Smith's contract perhaps?

My point is would you trade if you could?

"Mike Vrabel calls fourth-year tight end 'an unbelievable player to coach and be around every day.'"

Just savin.

Put the value on it? make it a win/win.

BB ain't spending a ransom of picks.

Ironically This goes back to the 6' 226lbs A.J. Brown versus the 6'1" 227lbs Shenault conversation. Guess which player had 63 receptions in 2021?...both.

have a feeling the Titan organization is not too happy with Mr. A.J. Brown trying to shoot has way out the door. The CAP for the Titans is about $10mm left. Is Brown affordable?

No he was not. He was a poor man's Delanie Walker.

Someone misjudged his production Smith never had 500yds in a season and is getting $12Mill a year yikes. That kinda explain our pedestrian Approach in FA 2022 we made some gross over pays in FA 2021.
