Interesting. I'd take him at the right price. Yes the Pats RB room is deep but he will be a plus and Harris seems to get dinged up once in a while.

Feels like he will end up back in Tampa though.

Not sure how we would split the snaps with 4 viable RB, but maybe injuries would take care of that for us.

I feel like it usually does. RB is a rough position, easy to get dinged up. Also, Fournette seems like a good runner for Stevenson to learn from. That said, the money has to be right, because this doesn't feel like a position to break the bank for on this team right now.

Well, we aren't really sure how ready White will be, and how he will come back, Taylor hasn't done much so far, and I imagine is on the bubble, leaving us with Harris and Stevenson, with Harris on the final year of his contract.

Maybe it's another indication that we are going to go with with a 2 RB approach without a pure FB, with maybe Jonnu and Fournette as the main blockers

I like Fournette, but it is weird, RB is one of the few positions that are "set"

I'd sign him up for Bolden type money/role.

Maybe they plan on using Fornette as a WR that can run occasion...IDK.

A year and a half ago

Usually RBs don't produce on the Patriots until year two. Harris barely played at all his rookie year. The fact that Stevenson played so much his rookie year may speak volumes to how good he will be in year two and beyond. If that is the case, they can afford to trade Harris and sign Fournette. Fournette provides a different dimension than either Stevenson or Harris. Stevenson's and Harris' skill set is a little more redundant.

I wasn't counting Taylor, but I was counting Fournette hypothetically.

Fournette knows the offense from Brady, can fill in for either for Harris or White. Plus he is still an elite talent. I think he would be an excellent depth signing.

They won't do it. Playoff Lenny doesn't know the Pats playbook. Besides it seems he'd be buried behind Stevenson and Harris.

One thing Lenny really improved at was catching the ball out of the backfield and working the slot.

If a 2 RB offense is being considered he would be a great fit considering his dual threat ability

I really would hate to lose Harris. He's such a great teammate and blossoming leader, not to mention his relationship with Mac.
Having 2 solid starting caliber guys going forward would be great. (with Stevenson, not Fournette)

Fournette reminds me of a better version of Brandon Jacobs...you just don't want to tackle him if you are a defender.

Fournette probably wants to go back to TB. He is just using NE for leverage. As soon as Brady finds out, he'll panic and force Licht to give him the deal he wants. Really smart on the part of Lenny .
