2. Belichich doesn't need to be in Foxboro waiting by the phone to get deals done. Wolf will most likely do the negotiations and Belichick is just a call away if necessary.

It's too bad that Matt Luke stepped down to spend time with family. Otherwise, I'd say that BB and MattyP were there to finalize a deal with him.. THAT would give me a LOT of hope for the O-line going forward.

Julio is actually a fit considering he doesn’t count in the comp pick formula & will be affordable. Maybe he has something left in the tank & you pair him with a rookie.

I'd be down to bring him in if it's on really short money, but some team will overpay him just for the name...

That sucks. This is the first or second deal (I wouldn't have mind if the Pats signed Russell Gage) I have seen and asked why didn't the Pats do this deal? Yes, Davis is a little older and missed all of last year, but if he returns to 2019/2020 form he will be a monster.

Wonder if Pats are actually really looking to trade for Collins or if the reported interest is leverage in their Brown negotiations. Then again, if Brown leaves, Collins would be a perfectly affordable and suitable replacement. You'd still need to find a replacement for Wynn after 2022 though.

I am still holding out a very minor, miniscule hope the Pats sign Rasul Douglas. He had a monster year last year and is flying under the radar. Rumors are he is resigning with the Packers, but that was several days ago with no movement. So there is a chance he can be available.
