Sacks are good but overrated unless you are like Aaron Donald pressures are what counts.
No sacks are better than pressures, but it’s about complementary defense.
There has never been a pass rusher than can disrupt even
20% of pass plays, and without coverage they couldn’t disrupt 10%.
And there has never been a DB that can cover if there is no pass rush.

The worse games the patriot defense had last year they had pressure but didn’t finish, if they finished and made the sacks it would have been very different.

I've never gotten the hang of the post search with the Xenforo system, or I'd go find the posts where I've used that article, and at least re-quote the parts I'd quoted in them.

Wish I could give you that much...
It's fine, I get you and I agree. My response was really for ChrisR and his rampant spending spree he proposed. His instance of go sign these 6-8 guys, trade for this one and that one didn't take into consideration any of the cap situations, pseudo cap or otherwise.

All this talk about Watson coming in and suddenly making any team a Super Bowl contender... what has Watson done to get this much shine?

Career record: 28-25 regular season; 1-2 playoffs

On top of that, his cap hits are astronomical:
2022: $40.4 Million
2023: $42.4 Million

And I don't think that they can easily lower that since he's technically signed until 2025 (with 2024 & 2025 essentially voidable with a $5.4 Million dead cap hit). That's a lot of cap space for a QB that hasn't really won anything.
You left out all of the rushing yards and TDs. He has the second highest career passer rating in the history of the league. If I were starting a franchise tomorrow, there are only two quarterbacks I would consider over Watson... Mahomes and Allen. His impact on whatever team he ends up with will be greater than Wilson's impact on Denver (and Wilson probably gets them into the postseason).

I feel like our next move is a number 1 receiver.

Can't believe we got nothing back for that guy.
What do Gilmore and Mason have in common? Both traded for a 5th. How is that possible?

Still holding hope we pull of a trade for Lael Collins, or bring in Miles Jack on a one year prove it deal, or better yet, both. Lots of time left.

4:00 now. Who has the “do something” picture?…..
