He's a good 3rd down receiving back and pass blocker. Rushed an avg 4.4 ypc. Just another weapon for Allen.

You seem so pleased, fellow “Pats fan”.

According to the guys on Patriots Unfiltered, he’s back on absolute peanuts.
Probably the Vet minimum with a ton of incentives that will be tabbed as NLTBE. Since he missed most of last year. Means that any he does earn will be applied to the 2023 cap..

I’m still listening to the show while I wait for an appointment. They quickly just added that the initial details were wrong. I thiiink they said 2.5M a season on a 2 yr deal. Not 100% sure. Tried to find exact details online, but looks like everyone is saying the same early report of 2 years 2.5M total.

The patriots were embarassed and demolished in the playoffs by the bills. BBs response is resigning four of his own free agents with mean age of 35.

Patience is one thing, but passivity will not improve this team. Yes its early in free agency but does anyone really believe they will sign a true impact UFA? They are running it back with mediocre players from ladt year.
Pats will be battling Jets for last place.

Post like this are really asinine. They show a complete lack of football knowledge AND are disingenuous. The Pats have re-signed 6 of their own players. Slater, White, Ferentz, McCourty, Folk, and Hoyer.

Slater is a an ALL-PRO special teamer.
Folk is a FG Kicker and has kicked something made something like 40 straight inside the 50. An NFL record.

White was injury last year.
Ferentz is a back-up center/guard who saw limited snaps. He may or may not make the team.
Hoyer is the back-up QB.

McCourty is the one guy who played well most of the year but got burned by the Bills at the end of the season He still have value.

Free Agency still hasn't officially started and you're whining like it's a week before the season starts. Not to mention that you're ignoring the fact that the Patriots do have limited funds to use (until they don't) and there is still the draft.

The trade of Winovich and the release of Van Noy tells me that the Pats will be looking at the Defensive Line early in the draft more so than LB. That's a good thing. Improving the D-Line improves the defense because the game is won in the trenches.

I thought I remember Belichick waiting until the official start of free agency to announce FA signings from other teams. It makes sense as he's seemingly always been held to a higher standard as far as the rules and punishment goes.

If someone has a counter example I'd gladly a admit I'm wrong, but I thought I remember the pats not announcing any signings during legal tampering.

Holy S**t, batman.. Younghoe Koo just broke the bank for a kicker. OK. Not really. He's the 2nd highest paid behind Justin Tucker.. Umm.. huh..

Thank you. Some people are here to merely troll.

The McCourty signing LOWERED this year's cap by $700k, according to Miguel - and DMac will be critical back there in helping Wade and the others develop the kind of communication a DB backfield needs.

Yup...2 years/5M with 500K guaranteed!

The Bills gave McKissic 7M with another 1M in incentives...LOL.

I love it!

Sweet Feet the hero of Houston, baby!!

I think that exhausted our cap space. I think we're going to see nothing but cuts and maybe another trade or two.
I'm hoping his recovery is complete.
There are many ways to skin a cat...cap-wise.

The Pats will make the moves they need to when they have to.

Clearly he passed his physical and will be a huge addition for Mac and the offense. Hopefully he can teach Harris and Stevenson how to pass block also. It will be nice if we can go the whole season with that 3 headed monster out of the backfield.

They can literally free up 30M in a few hours. And that is without adding years or anything. Simple Salary to SB conversions for people like Henry, Judon, Mason, etc.

More than likely. I didn't mean they are done.
The report about maintaining a culture is evident now with the vet leadership largely restored. Still a long way to go in moving pieces prior to the draft.

I think that your math skills are sh*t.

Fills WR3 for Bucs

I hope we snag someone. At this point we may be better off drafting a stud and hopefully hitting on the pick this time
